1000mg per serving, high quality
I ordered these hoping they will help improve my knee joints.Green lipped mussel 90 capsules, 1000mg per serving.Suggested serving is two capsules per day, by my reckoning this gives approximately 45 days supply.They seem to be a very high quality supplement with a strong scent, to my nose prawns but mussels would be more accurate as the name suggests.The smell is mild once in your hand though. personally I like the smell, reminds me of seafood stalls at the seaside but it’s an individual preference.Very easy to swallow and convenient to take just two of these capsules a day.For 90 capsules at this strength they represent pretty good value.They are obviously not suitable for vegans, vegetarians and best avoided if you have a fish allergy just to be on the safe side.

Misleading quantity/dose
Still in the minority (yes there are others out there doing this too) but the capsules are NOT 1000 mg which is implied by using the word ‘serving’ rather than ‘per capsule’. So if you want a 1000mg ‘serving’ you need to take two of these capsules per day which halves the length of time they will last you and effectively costs you double what you thought to achieve 1000mg. Serving’ is so misleading in this case as a unit measure, in fact, it sounds like a case for Trading Standards. Caveat emptor…

I was recommended this for my elderly dog
A friend said that I should try this for my arthritic dog. Just sprinkle it on her food and hopefully it should ease her elbows.

Not for me
Personally, it caused me to feel unwell. After just two capsules it resulted in diarrhoea and nausea so I'm unable to use it and have thrown it away.
