Mazda CX5
I don't often go anywhere where I am out of range of cell phone coverage but now I know I will still have access to a map if I do. This worked perfectly in my 2021 Mazda CX5.

Works for my 2023 Mazda cx5
Easy to install and works just fine! Beats paying $500 thru Mazda for the exact same thing. You can’t update their chip either. I suppose if I need a new chip in a couple years, then I’ll get a new one. If you’re worried about things not being updated, I haven’t run into that problem yet myself, but also don’t live in the city where the roads change as frequently. You can always plug your phone in and use it if you’re going somewhere newly built. Or just enter the address. Definitely would buy again!

Works with 2021 Mazda CX-5
Mazda will charge you $400 for this same SD card that activates your in-vehicle GPS navigation, or you can buy it here and save yourself about $350 and just plug it into the USB port of your vehicle (while the vehicle's engine is off). When you start your vehicle it will take about 60 seconds or so for it to read the database in from the card and do the activation. After that you'll have navigation and road sign recognition (like speed limit signs) displayed directly in the instrument cluster and in your HUD. The only downside, these maps are from 2021. But this is still well worth it, in my opinion, to have the other features it adds to your vehicle and a nice backup to Apple or Google maps if you're in a remote area without cell data coverage and didn't download offline maps.
