This top burst battle game falls somewhere in the middle of the excitement spectrum. The concept is interesting, with customizable tops that burst apart during battles, adding an element of surprise.The build quality is decent; the tops seem durable enough for the occasional clash. However, the burst feature, while novel at first, loses its thrill after a few rounds. It often feels like the burst happens randomly rather than strategically, taking away from the competitive aspect.The included arena is a nice touch, but its design could use some improvement for smoother battles. The tops sometimes get stuck, disrupting the flow of the game.

Sometimes the battle tops fly out of the battle stadium. Otherwise it is a fun game. The little ones can get a little too competitive, so when they start being contentious it is put up for a while. It is quickly becoming a favorite family activity.

If you are going to try Bey Blades, this is a good place to start. It is not the national brand best known in North America for making these but there's time for that if your intended giftee is just starting out and may or may not like the whole "battling tops" idea.You get everything you must have to begin. The stadium, a couple of tops and two launchers which complete your initial setup. The stadium requires assembly but that's easy. No batteries are required. It makes for a relatively inexpensive way to "test the waters."If it's a hit with the kids, you can start buying the more expensive Brand Name versions next time. I recommend that you watch a few "How To" videos first so you know how things work. I gave this to my Grandsons (8 and 6) and they loved it.

Price for product is okay but the arena breaks daily with launching the beyblades. Doesn’t last.

This stadium would be perfect for a birthday or Christmas gift it's durable and fun for the children to play this kept them occupied for over two hours great value for the money.
