My second one as I have two routers. Fits lovely. Gear cog will work when you have closed gap just a touch No issues at all.

It fits my off-brand Avtbeisty (but actually the same as the Katsu counterpart) router well, but this router base is built down to a price. The adjusting gear is loose and needs additional washers for better location; you lose the incredibly useful quick-release lever and gain a knob instead; there's no dust extraction cover and tube; and the cylinder section has no protrusions to locate it in the grooves of the router body. The square base though is thick plastic and well made, although you're well advised to tap the four holes before you screw the bottom plate to it (M4 screws, which I ignored and drilled and tapped for M5). The QR metal router base that is also available is a better quality buy, but has peculiar screw spacing and doesn't come with a square baseplate.

I purchaded this base for my Mikita palm router to allow me to use DIY jigs without the need to screw the base on & off. For the money it's a bargain & I will be buying a couple more now I know it's sturdy & fits my router perfectly. One slight negative for people to be aware of (mentioned in other reviews). There are no threads in the holes for joining the two bases together. This is not an issue for me as I have set of taps (Lidl often seel them cheap) & can add threads. If you don't have/don't want to purchase a set of taps, then assembling the two parts of the base plate could be problematic. The strange thing is, they include the screws, so they know what thread is required & it doesn't seem like a big job to cut them at the factory. Strange! Personally, for the price I'd give this 5/5 but I feel I must mark it down one star to make others aware of this issue. If you don't mind this minor modification then it's a very good item at a very good price. It won't be as robust as the Mikita one if you were to drop it as it's plastic but I don't tend to drop my router, so that isn't too much of a concern & if I did, another tenner for a replacement wouldn't be the end of the world.

The item comes with the minimum instruction, still not sure what the plastic wings are for. Adding the foot was difficult as the threads are badly cut and the screws kept getting stuck. The heads on the screws don't seem to match any type of screwdriver bit and are really soft metal.

A super value which I ordered after the original broke. Really pleasantly surprised at the cost and it works well. Certainly recommend this.

Firstly, these are pretty much self assembly. You get a bag of screws and a cog for adjusting the height. Housing fits nicely over the router but the screw is bigger than the hole in the height adjust cog. Was completely useless. Have returned it for a refund and not wasting my time with a replacement. Perhaps if they bothered to assemble these before they boxed them, they’d know if they were acceptable to sell. I suspect more than just me had this problem. Poor worksmanship.

Io ne faccio un utilizzo fissato ad una tavola rovesciata per simulare un banco fresa e le viti comprese nella confezione non supravano lo spessore di 15 mm del foglio di compensato. Ne ho comprate di più lunghe ed ho avuto bisogno di allargare i fori con un trapano. Al netto di questo, materiale buono e buona stabilità nella tenuta dell'utensile.

Lo compre como repuesto para una fresadora erbauer encaja perfecta la otra se rompio al caerse es prácticamente idéntica y las guías encajan a la perfección además esta tiene empuñadura de goma y tiene mejor agarre

Pâle copie de la version MAKITA les pièces à visser ne sont pas au format . Le perçage du socle n'est pas taraudé. Si j'achète 1 jeu de taraud je perd le bénéfice du tarif attractif et je conserve des taraude dans le tiroir " ça servira peut être un jour."

Great it works also for the Makita RT0702CX4/2, so I can use it for my self made router table and don't need to use the original one from Makita.
