I got these to write notes in my Bible and they are so fun. They are kind of a weird texture to write on but still functional. Sharpie works but highlighter does not, it wipes off so be careful with that!

Love these sticky notes!!!The sheerness, color variety, adhesive stick on-all 5 stars!Can write on with sharpie and within a few seconds it is dry, you do not need to worry about smudging.Great for recording different thoughts/topics in your study books and prepping for exams!

I did not realize these sticky notes were not going to be paper material. They’re a thin plastic. Bummed.

These are my favorite sticky notes. My only issue with them is that if you use a pencil on them, it scrapes off the color and you can't see what you wrote or drew. So I will just use a Sharpie marker with them and they look great. I originally got them for my anatomy class so I could draw on them but it's hard to do that if your writing utensil has a sharp tip, so I didn't use them for that and recently I will just use them to list my to-dos for the day or any homework I have.I LOVE THE COLORS! Super cute and aesthetic and they look adorable on my laptop. They stick well too! Overall I love them.

These notes are impossible to write on, even with pencils or ballpoint pens like the description suggests. In the photo I uploaded, I tried writing with pencil twice (top left two scribbles are supposed to say "pencil") which looks horrible and digs into the plastic note. A G2 gel pen is the top right - even with a few seconds to dry it smudges right off. Below that is a pink InkJoy gel pen, which hardly shows up and also smudged immediately. The only utensil that kind of works in the pic is a ballpoint pen (on the bottom in the pic) but as you can see it takes a while for the pen to work on this material.The only medium I found that works on these notes are Sharpies, but I only have a large size to test with so I can't speak to how well the plastic notes will hold up to fine point Sharpies. Buy at your own risk!
