This light is exceptional. It gives a halo effect on the photo which is perfect for a portrait. The light is adjustable, both vertically on the frame and back and forth in front of the portrait. I was going to purchase a timer to be able to control when the light comes on each day but it has one built in. You wait until the time you want it to come on, turn it on, and press the number of hours you want. I turned it on at 4:30 pm and then pushed 6 hours (it will flash to let you know it’s on a timer). Now it turns on every day at 4:30 pm and turns off at 10:30 pm. Amazing! It is a very sturdy light, not flimsy at all. It is definitely more along the rose-gold color, more copper than true brass, but is very attractive. I didn’t like the wire hanging down the wall so I purchased a wire cover channel, ran it down the wall and along the baseboard and am waiting for an outlet cover for the plug. Looks professional and blends well. The plug is vertical so it doesn’t stick out on the wall. Definitely a good purchase for much less than many other lights. Will purchase another when the need arises.

I purchased this gallery light to highlight portrait of my son, now I look for any excuse to install there around my home! The unit itself is really solid and has a weight to it. It’s slim enough that I was able to have the cord behind the photo and have a cord cover the rest of the way. This light plugs in, so I really don’t have to worry remembering to charge it or turn it on and off. It has a timer and goes on/off by itself every evening. Comes with remote/dimmer. Would be amazing to wire these onto a built in bookshelf/mini library. Best gallery light I could find!

The best part of the light is that it illuminates just the picture and not the frame or the wall. Just beautiful and perfect.

This is perfect. Great light that mounts easily to the picture frame. The light has soo many options for color and brightness. The remote works well. I ran my power cord in the wall to give it the clean look. The only negative that I could say is the remote control box has to sit behind the painting. If using a tight flat picture with little space, then it could prove to be a challenge but very do able. A benefit is that the remote control box can be removed and run the light directly with out it. Oh course you loose all lighting options but have a tiny power wire only.

Very cool light nicely made. Works well for 12" to !8" picture but does not eluminate large pictures enough.

This light is really nice; it makes a soft glow on my painting. Also, the light itself is made where it is not large and noticeable but small and barely noticeable when viewed from the front. I like it that it came in copper, as well, because it matches parts of the picture frame my painting is in. Thanks!

These are small, lightweight and easy to install. I like that they have a flat plug so that it fits flush against the wall behind my artwork. I do wish they got a bit brighter but in all they work well and aren't a fortune like a lot of nicer art lighting. I plugged two in and one remote works for both of them simultaneously without having to do any pairing.

I don't normally leave reviews but this light has far exceeded my expectations. It's well built and solid feeling, quite heavy for such a small light. The light is a perfect color and intensity with the ability to make even minor adjustments. Worth every penny and then some given that professional art lights like Situ, are many times more expensive. It's great to use the remote to adjust the light as the day passes giving just the right amount of light to the picture. I will certainly be buying more in the future.
