I'M HAPPY WITH IT...
Like the headline says, I'm happy with it. I know some have complained about the buttons pulling off. I can see if your pulling on each side of the jacket at the fabric and not at the buttons themselves you will probably pull the buttons off or out of the fabric. I been using it almost a year now and when I unsnap the jacket I take my time and unsnap the buttons at the buttons themselves.It has held up well for me.I would buy again!

I just ordered my second one of these. The first one was ok. The second snap from the top ripped off after about a month of use. I also wore a hole in it from carrying my cutting glasses on the inside pocket. I believe that the green jackets are a little more durable but they also carry a higher price tag. I wear my first one whenever I go to work in a foundry that makes train wheels. So it gets abused in there. I wanted the second one to use in other locations where being more presentable is called for.

Fit problems
The fit is kind of weird. Narrow in the shoulders and short. I’m 5’11”. XL is my usual for welding jackets. It was too small.

Great Jacket!
I needed a decent welding jacket. I looked at a few in stores but they were cheaply made and light weight. This one is quality built and feels like quality. Very happy with this jacket.

Light weight jacket
Nice light weight welding jacket, perfect for summer time welding. Leather welding jacket was too thick and almost wanted to pass out from heat exhaustion. Threw this jacket on and could weld all day long. Can feel the heat from the sparks and slag a little more but nothing to be concerned about. Another quality product from Hobart
