I bought the Escort Max 360c MK11 and had nothing but troubles with it, The power button would not work correctly. Sometime there would be a delay powering up the unit. Other times it would not power up correctly.There were times i encountered radar and the unit would never pick up a signal. The settings for the color arrows also had a flaw. When i would set the color for red for Ka band i would get yellow.The BSM filter was not great, i would get allot of false signals.What Escort did was change their Radar Antenna Platform and the changed their processor.Both of these changes did not make the unit work correctly. When you downloaded any new firmware, it made matters worst. What Escort did is try to create a unit a sell it has glory hole, nothing but over priced junk that does not work. I did did send my unit in for service, all their service dept. did ran various test on the unit. Nothing was physically repaired, just tests done. When i go the unit returned to me it was just is bad if not worst when i sent it in for repair. I bough the unit for $500.00 which was not a bad price. After using this unit it was like "Night Mare on Elm Street. Their Customer Service is terrible and Repair Service is the same. I finally got sold the unit and was lucky i got my my what i paid for the unit.Escort makes only three units now. The Redline 360c, the first version of the Escort Max 360c MK11 and now the are selling and improved version on their website of the Escort Max 360c MK11, for more money.The first Escort Max 360c MK11 is nothing but junk and now Escort new version of this unit,Go to the website and see for your self and you will see the two versions. The newer one cost more money. If your smart stay away from Escort, all they will do is take your money.I few years back i did buy The original Max 360c, whic i still have today and works great.I did have to send it in for service and the correct repairs where made. The unit is bullet proof and doses the job. The Escort Max 360c is the best unit Escort ever produced in the MAX LINE.Whistler came out with a new a Digital UNIT called the Titan. The Whistler Titan comes with a Three year Warranty, the best in the industry. The Titan has the best BSM filtering on the market. The detection range for detection of various radar and laser signals blows competition away. I purchases my Titan directly form the Whistler Group on line and paid $312.00 total. Don't go to Ebay the sellers are selling them for $450.00 Go to the website of vortex radar and you will get factual and true information of all the different radar unit on the market. The Titan was rated when it first cam out with 4 stars, i strongly feel that it will change to 5 stars. The Whistler Titan has so many featured options in it menu setting, that other unit don't even come close.I have to good units: the Escort max 360c and the Whistle Titan. They a both bullet proof and get the job done. One more thing all the updates for the Whistler Titan are free. Escort charges for every little thing.Their website has allot of good propaganda to draw you in and take your money and you get nothing in return.Do your homework and learn. A Radar Detector will work for you, if you know how to option your units.
