I was looking for red to add accent to my kitchen. This is a true, candy apple red. The holder is black matte. These spoon dishes are the best I've ever had for many reasons. The color is vibrant. Having them stackable and stored in the frame is convenient. They don't take up stove or extra counter space when not in use. The surface area is perfect for wider spoons or even tongs. They are easy to hand wash or even run through dishwasher (I'm not sure if they are listed as dishwasher safe, so check before I steer you wrong...) They are a nice weight ceramic, so they look good and not cheap or cheaply made. Overall, very happy with my purchase!

I love the modern look of these spoon holders, and that they are dishwasher safe. Beware however, that they are so useful that your family members will decide they can be used for many things. We have kitchen counters that containers can leave spots on, so my husband decided to use these spoon rests under the spray bottle and also the pepper grinder. I will need to buy another set because they have become so useful.

Annoyed by setting multiple different cooking tools on the counter or edge of something all the time making little messes? This set is for you. Great they are large, can use for multiple utensils/spoons sometimes use them for quick serving finger food or for holding seasoning/chopped herbs/slices. Really like the little storage rack too. These look great, works great, and will inspire any cook to be more like a chef.

The description was accurate and they were received on schedule. These are a gift for Christmas so I can't I can't comment on washing them. The seem sturdy and I expect they should be durable.
