Macallen 60m of Jute Twine, Natural Hessian Burlap String 3 PLY (Dark Green)

Had I looked more closely, I'd have seen this was coming from China and I wouldn't have purchased. It Will have to travel halfway around the world which takes a month.All for some string. It's not even special string. I should have popped down the local garden centre. I'm not sure why Amazon would sell string from China. It's a strange world.

It wasn't until I had ordered this small ball of twine that I realised my £2.19 purchase was coming all the way from Hong Kong! It not only took 36 days to finally be delivered but I was embarrassed to think of the carbon footprint I had created by not ordering from a UK supplier. I'm sure it is a great ball of twine though and I will treasure it for as long as it lasts!

Expected a much bigger ball than I got. I'm sure it's the correct length but it's much thinner than expected and hence a relativel small ball. I would have prefered to pay much more and get a massive ball of thickish green string that would last or years.

Twine a bit thinner than expected, but OK for some jobs.
