Good for the price, but lacks a safety latch to keep closed
I've used a ton of different crimping tools and the quality on this is excellent for the price, however it lacks a key feature - a locking mechanism so the cutter doesn't remain exposed. Yes, you can use the little piece of metal that comes with it, but that is not attached to the crimper and it's easily going to get lost. A two cent metal latch at the bottom would have sufficed.This should work fine in stored in a tool belt that presses the sides closed, but if you have this loose in a drawer or bag, the cutter is exposed which is no good. Sadly, I expected a lot more from Paladin tools
