Perfect inexpensive book of facts and trivia for people like me who like to read in short bursts at bedtime or while sitting on the toilet. Great price for a 700-page, interesting hardcover book.

Filled with information.

I just purchased several of these books and they are so interesting. First I love how they look. Almost like the old Reader's Digest books. The content within is all true, interesting facts that you don’t normally think of during your everyday life but these facts are nice to know. I think these make really nice reading material for yourself or someone else and would be a lovely gift for a very reasonable price. I will continue every so often to pick up another one here and there not only because of how interesting they are but they are large books that have a lot of information in thm and you need time to not only read but absorb that information. I am really glad I found these books on Amazon and will give as gifts at Christmas this year.

I was excited to give this book to my nephew for his 13th birthday because he LOVES learning about facts. I bought it based on other reviewers who said they had given to their similarly-aged relatives, since there wasn't a "Look inside" feature and no age recommendations on the description. I riffled through the pages when it arrived and realized it was perfect for him (bite-size pieces of information that he can pursue further if he's curious) except for the Supernatural and Superweird chapter. He's more of a "Just the facts, ma'am" kind of kid. So I figured he could just skip that chapter, no problem. His auntie, however, happens to be very interested in the Supernatural and Superweird, so I started reading that chapter. It was fascinating! Unfortunately there was language in that section of the book that I felt uncomfortable giving to him, and I knew his parents would definitely frown upon it! His upbringing is a bit (okay, a LOT) more innocent than a lot of kids these days - he and his younger brother and sister don't watch TV, they don't have video games or phones, and they are home-schooled. No they are not Amish. :) I think the book is great, and probably would be fine for most older kids these days, as a typical video game is much more violent than the stories in the book. But I thought I would let others know about some of the language in case they are of similar mind as my nephew's family. Examples of the language I felt was inappropriate included mentions of rape, abortion, sexual assault by demons, murder, beheading, and the like. I understand he'll be exposed to this kind of stuff probably in the near future. But I don't want to be the one who does it!

As someone who has been a voracious and curious reader for more than 7 decades I have always loved books that contain interesting and informative facts. This is why while browsing on Amazon when I came across this 704 page hardcover volume (The book of incredible information: Big book of fascinating facts & stories) I decided to purchase it. This excellent book explores an enormous amount of fascinating information on a wide variety of topics. There are fourteen chapters covering such topics as "Extradentary explores, way our professions, supernatural and super weird, the Civil War, World War 11" and many other subjects. If you like books of facts and unusual information this is a book you may want to check out. I loved it. Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. Trivia pursuit with explanations. I have several book from the series. I bought two together; 'Mis-Information' and 'Incredible Information.' These similar books tell facts we didn't know and facts that we thought we knew or were taught, that are inaccurate. SIMPLE reads that explain the facts in a few paragraphs. It makes the reading pass by very quick and maintains a constant engagement. As someone with severe attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, reading a book was always difficult due to a waning interest. That's why these are great. It's interesting and concise .

I am a senior and have eye and brain issues. This book is PERFECTION! Lightweight. Large enough sized print and short enough stories that I don't get frustrated having to start a book over every time I pick one up. Hoping to read it vover to cover.

Possibly the best bathroom book ever printed. My hat size went up because of all the new silly knowledge I have gained.

This book covers so many interesting things: articles, products, myths, superstitions, pets and much more. I think it would take a lifetime to read EVERYTHING in this book! It is great for anyone who likes interesting facts.
