It's just a length of material. However, it is pretty long so if you wanted to tie it in a knot for exercises, that works pretty well.

Are these made with Latex? I like them but have had irritation when wearing them and have a latex allergy so need to know gel type

Yes these do contain latex. Theraband does make latex free resistance bands.

Just received my theraband in red. Why did it have white chalk/dust all over it?

Without the talc the theraband gets very difficult to work with.
