No batteries included.....
I know it said so in the description if you read down far enough but it is still annoying when products are sold these days without batteries... I got caught on this one, wont happen again. The product is OK..... inclined to separate from the base when you close the closet door and the section with the light and battery falls into the closet and remains on until you reopen the door and see it shining back at you.... In my case, rather dimly as many hours have passed and the battery ( not included) has been depleting all day . This has happened quite a few times...When it doesn't break apart, it works rather well.

Cabinet lights
I haven't installed them as yet, as having a new kitchen, but in principle, they look great.
