Cat Door with Magnetic Keys, Upgraded Interior and Exterior Pet Door with 2 Auto-Sensing Keys, 4 Locking Modes, Safe and Durable Frame (9 1/5" x 11 3/4" x 1 1/2", Black)

The design is super bad- you can only have it facing inside if you want to give your animal complete access to the inside space. Which means, the locking mechanism is always going to be on the inside. This means if you’re like me and trying to keep animals away from each other during certain times of day only, the animal will likely unlock the door on its own. My cat already figured it out, so I’m unable to separate him from the other pet food in the house, and all his food is medicated which is why he has his own room. I wanted a door where he could let himself in and out at night, but would be locked during the day when the food is out. Unfortunately the way the locking mechanism is placed, it’s right on the bottom, and just clicks without any kind of safety, so the cat just scratches at the door, randomly hits the lock, and it opens. Likely if you had toddlers crawling around, they’d be able to trigger it too. I’ll have to find a DIY solution or get a different cat door, not impressed.

This door was easy to install once the hole was cut right. We use it to allow one cat in and out but the magnet is noisy and sometimes the cat will open the magnet but it will not close behind him and will allow other animals in the flap

The door works. However, my cat lost the magnet collar after the first 5 days and I can't find the second collar. There is apparently no where to order replacement magnets for the collar.

The media could not be loaded.  Installing the door was the easiest part. However it will let anything through one direction on any of the settings, you don't need the magnet to open it which completely defeats the purpose of having a magnetic door. I got it to make a feeding station for my cats who have different diets. It does me no good if they can all get to the food anyway. The real problem is any pet can get through the door to get into the box. However, they can't get back out without the magnet which is an entire problem in itself.

Showed up with no hardware and in a shoebox that was beat up. Casing was cracked and it looked like it had been returned by someone else previously. I loved the idea of it but this is not the way to go. Avoid at all cost!!

Love the idea of this door to prevent other animals from Inside the house. But sadly it didn’t come with the two keys it advertised so only works for one pet at this time

The door opens and closes with these magnetic balls that are inside the blue/yellow bells. The bells are just snapped closed. Within maybe 2 weeks BOTH magnetic balls are GONE and now the door is unable to open or close. We installed it on our shed door for our barn cats. So it’s majorly sucks!!!

Disappointed !I thought this would work despite the negative reviews about magnets !! I was wrong! My cat cannot open door ! He is a very smart maincoon but the magnet will not touch the magnetic area to open door . He has to mash his face against door before the magnetic gets close ! And the door will only open if the magneti touches one specific spot!!
