Simple and effective gimble for the GoPro.

This is all metal, well made and well finished.The locking screw runs smoothly into the threaded socket.One minor point is the gopro 'feet' are just minutely wider than the slots of this bracket.The result is the gopro camera is a little tight to insert and also I cannot tighten the screw tight enough with my fingers to stop the camera from pivoting in the bracket. I have to use the special provided spanner to tighten the screw to stop the camera being able to tilt/move.Not a massive problem as the camera is held quite stiffly, but if you need it not to move, then will need to use the spanner.Overall at £9.99 (July 2023), would say that is a good price.Rating as 4* as cannot tighten hard enough to stop pivoting unless the spanner is use... but would still recommend 👍

I've used other similar adapters to mount my Osmo Action camera in a hotshoe and some of the cheaper ones don't totally tighten up properly because the hotshoe bit adjustment screw is too long (or loose). I've had the Osmo move about in use with some of those and had to keep tightening it up, so it's a pain.This thing is solid. It's well made, sturdy, feels great quality and it doesn't have a stupidly big cap between the base of the hotshoe part and the bit that holds the action cam.My Osmo does not move at all. Tighten it once and you're done. It's great. Wish I'd had this a lot sooner.I use the Osmo to record point of view videos for a YouTube channel about street photography, so I need it to remain in the position I fix it! This adapter does that perfectly. Very pleased with it.
