Fixed goals at community football pitch
Needed to fix folding goalposts. A dedicated sports goods website wanted to sell 2 of these in a pack for £12.99 + £5 postage working out at £9 each.Quick search on Amazon and I had a pack of 5 delivered next day for £7.49!! Shear pins
Would work for a trail lock but not as a shear pin under much more of a load. Metal is very soft and bends. Used them as shear pins for a post hole auger and they bent. Wasn’t even hard soil.
