So far, so good!
So far the camera is great for the purpose I got it for, to check in on my pup while I am out or at work. Have not tried the night vision, and the camera has a little bit of lag- but I think you’ll have that with all cameras.

i love this camera. it’s easy set up. connects easy. and stays connected. only down fall is after 30 days of use. the app will stop collecting data. and automatically delete with out a payment method of $7 or more a month. they’ve changed the price 2 times since i’ve had it for 8 months. but it’s worth its price. because afterwards keeps all collected data.

AWFUL PRODUCT- BUYER BEWARE- ARLO Stops supporting old cameras
Update: just received an email that the old cameras are reaching end of life in a couple of months and will essentially become an expensive paperweight. No credit for them. DISGUSTING way to treat customers!!!!I have several old ARLO cameras. Some that connect to a Base Station Hub, and some that connect directly to WIFI. I have had no problems with them. The hub connection for this one is very slow. The WIFI connection is a DISASTER. It will not directly connect to the Apple Router for it gets confused between the 5 Ghz and the 2.4 Ghz band. It would only connect if I gave the bands different names. This meant my other devices could also connect to the slower band. I saw no way around this. THEIR SUPPORT HAS CHANGED TO DISMAL too.

*UPDATE - Geofencing works again!* Geofencing stopped working after app update.
Another update. For geofencing, it sucks. I don't know if it's hardware or software. It SUCKS.Below is my initial review. I didn't change any settings on my phone or the camera because I had pretty much given up on geofencing. Then, magically, it started recognizing when I was home and away again and would arm and disarm accordingly (somewhere around Jan 20, 2023). I can only attribute this to Arlo fixing the bug that came with the big app update in November 2022. I'm pretty happy with it now, but I only upgrade it 4 to stars because the bug was frustrating for me, and who knows if this problem will happen again with the next update.Geofencing is the most important feature for me. When I leave home, it should arm itself. When I arrive home, it should disarm. It's really not that complicated technology these days. It actually worked very well for a while. Then they updated the app in November 2022, and now geofencing rarely works. Sometimes it works if you leave the app open constantly, but that was not the case before the update, and also, that's not acceptable to me. Check out the reviews of the app on Google Play, and you'll see A LOT of negative reviews about many things, especially after the update. The camera itself is OK. It can't scan a room like other cameras, and I hear some features work best only if you subscribe to the monthly cloud storage. You should look for a different camera.

Great Camera to Monitor Kids at Home
We had used an Arlo doorbell camera for years and it had been reliable and easy to use. We needed an indoor camera to monitor the kids when we left them at home for short periods. Adding this camera to the Arlo software / app we already had was seamless and easy. The camera performs well in the dark and is extremely sensitive to motion. We also like that you can turn the camera off from the phone app as we always turn the camera off when we're at home and it isn't needed.

Easy to install. Great view inside home.
Great little security camera. Gives me feeling of security. I love the alerts I can obtain from my cell phone when I am away from home. I also have 4 outdoor camera's. Easy to use and monitor what is going on around my home. Wifi connection is the best for me.

Loses connection with power outage
I like these cameras in my home. I have one in the “kids’ room” that I share with my niece and my daughter-in-law for when their kids visit. They can check in on them at night. I am using them without the base. I hate that the cameras lose connection with power outages (or even unplugging to move them.) I have to reconnect them. Sometimes it’s a breeze, and sometimes I have to try over a few days because I get so frustrated! Right now one isn’t cooperating (of course the kids’ room camera!) I’m not sure if I’d buy these again or not.
