This really saves us from dampness in cabinets in our climate. I use it both in the closet with clothes and in the kitchen. They fill with water very quickly and I understand how high the humidity is.

The peeling film does not function as described; instead of removing just a thin layer, you end up removing the entire cover, leaving the beads exposed. Initially, the beads do absorb moisture as advertised, but they quickly clump together into a hard mass, rendering them ineffective. It prevents further humidity from absorbing and water dripping from through the plastic holes. Overall, I wouldn't purchase this product again. I'll stick to the more expensive DampRid, which has proven to be more reliable.
