VitamixAscent 3500 & Food Processor Bundle Copper

This blender is good, but not great. Certainly not for what I paid for it. Our previous blender that cost half as much was just as good. This thing is loud and smells funny every time I use it. The lid is cheap plastic and the small center piece does not stay in place. Save your money and buy something less expensive.Updated - Finally had a chance to use the food processor option and am lowing the rating. The food processor has serious issues that were mentioned in some of the reviews I read before purchasing the product. While using it to make nut butters, after about 7-8 minutes of use, it stops working and a circle with a line through it appears on the display. I now had a processing bowl full of nut butter that I had to finish so I transferred it to the blender.I then went to the Vitamix site and they say when that happens to unplug the base and let it rest for about 45 minutes. I did that and it worked, but what good is a food processor that can only be used for a few minutes. This issue has now happened three times, so I'm done with the food processor. Sure glad I kept my old Cuisinart food processor.
