I far prefer loose leaf tea to anything in a tea bag. I have glass pot infuser with a spring top strainer lid which I have used for quite some time. I recently bought these "test tube" infusers to try and I am very impressed with the quality of the tea that results. They seem to bring out the flavor in loose tea better than the glass pot, perhaps because something gets lost in the strainer that goes on top of my original pot. In contrast, this glass infuser produces tea with a discernably purer taste. I also like the simplicity of a single device that can act as an infuser and a stirrer all in one. Some loose tea grounds do manage to escape into the cup, which the glass pot with strainer prevented, but if anything, this helps impart flavor. It does not subtract from the drinking experience. This glass infuser cleans up easily as well with just a quick rinse. Some tea tends to get stuck in the micro slits that allow for diffusion but they still rinse out with ease or can be brushed out. I would recommend this simple and inexpensive infuser to anyone who enjoys a cup of loose tea. I am now drinking some of the most enjoyable tea I have ever had.

Personally I'm not a fan just because its hard to get the leafs out once wet. Overall not a bad product tho

I'm always on the lookout for ways to replace plastic utensils, and after trying several tea infusers, I was still uncertain about their materials. However, I gave this one a five-star rating because it works flawlessly. I can now enjoy loose tea with confidence. Plus, when a specific tea isn't available in loose form, I simply empty the tea bags into a container and measure it out before using the infuser. I discovered that each tea bag holds exactly one teaspoon. What makes this unique is that It is made out of glass and it is food safe. I highly recommend this infuser.

The slits tend to let a bit of loose leaf tea and grit escape into your cup, and is pretty inefficient at steeping. Any leaves below the lowest slit don't cycle water or interact. If this had a hole or slit on the bottom of the vial, perhaps that would have helped.

I get sooo much use out of these. They are durable and very easy to clean I just rinse after every use. I love that they come with two but I have honestly been working on one I might give the other to my sister.

The concept is good, the engineering not so much. The tea leaves get wet and packed in and is very difficult to clean. The second one broke today. Do not recommend.

I love this. It was easy to rinse out the tea leaves, it worked well, and left no residue. For my tea, I let it steep for 4 minutes. Then it was easy to grab the top and pull it out. The glass was warm but not painfully hot, and even if it was too hot you can lift the whole thing out by the cork. Overall it’s super cute and functional, I would buy again

If your tea leaves are small it doesn't stay in the tube. Otherwise it's great.

first one rolled off the cutting board onto the counter and broke to pieces, I'm now using the one that was cracked when it arrived, forget about cleaning them, can't get the loose tea out when you are done with it.
