Brilliant for continuous oxygen monitoring
This is an excellent pulse oximeter if you would like to monitor your oxygen saturation levels and heart rate continuously.Other pulse oximeters take a while to start reading so if you’re having a medical episode it may well have passed before you get chance to take a reading. It’s fantastic to be able to have a continuous record throughout the day or night.I mentioned to my pulmonary consultant (NHS telephone appointment) that my oxygen was dropping and he arranged for me to wear one of their “accurate” devices. It turned out to be the same make and model!Since then I’ve been able to share the excellent PDF files of my readings with him.Customer services are excellent too, I had an error occur which turned out to be a faulty ring sensor, they quickly sent me a replacement. With my hypoxia I often experience brain fog and I foolishly threw out the charging cable as well. When I asked customer services where I could purchase another, they sent me a replacement free of charge!

Great device to track an entire nights sleep
I have used finger pulse oximeters a ring oximeter also from Wellue/Viatom and this Checkme 02 wrist version. I also had an older friend in his 80s use this for an evening. He had no prior experience with an oximeter. This is what he thought :• Easy to wear and didn’t restrict movement. Not disturbing in any way• I have thick thumbs and this was ok to get it on• Needed a bit of help getting the pop studs for the wrist unit shut• Interesting to have the average heart rate for the night but also see the amount of movement and how many times my heart rate increased during the nightConclusion- Value for money – It isn’t cheap at £170. That said overall I am impressed with the Checkme and the ability to track an entire nights sleep and have a full report. I prefer both this wrist unit and the ring unit to a finger pulse oximeter, for a number of reasons including that they are a lot more practical to wear, the app is really good in saving your data and also watching your reading in real time and you could actually wear the units during the day if you were interested in seeing what your heart rate was doing. For example wearing them while taking a walk and seeing your avg heart rate. This would be a little tricky with a standard finger pulse oximeter- If I had to choose between this Checkme 02 wrist device and the O2 ring, I would pick the O2 Ring Pulse Oximeter- the ring is a simpler design with no cable or wrist strap and easy to get on your finger. It also is a little thicker than the ring strap that comes with the wrist unit so feels a bit more robust. I am always a little worried about snapping the thin bit of rubber on the underside of both rings when you pull it off.- accuracy of both units is comparable. I wore bot units on the same night on diff hands and the avg heart rate was only 1 beat different- one thing I am checking is that the ring seems to have changed to a different date after not using it for a few weeks. I opened the app on the phone and after doing a few short recordings it seems to have corrected. I’d recommend opening the app and check the date and time that is being registered before going to sleep. If its wrong, take the device off after a min, try sync that data and see if the date and time resets.- the battery life of the ring could be better but either way you need to charge both units every 2-3 days- the ring also comes with a special cable for doing the data download for the computer option – so don’t lose it ! The Checkme O2 I believe has a standard USB Mini cable- the ring has the ability to download the data to a computer so in addition to reports and a summary you can literally see all your readings at 4 second intervals. According to the manual, to get this feature on the wrist version, you need to buy the Checkme O2 Pro apparently.Unboxing –neat presentation, I like the magnet box and the sleeve – very professional. It comes with a USB mini cable. You need to charge the device out of the box before you use it.Fit - The Ring fits securely and comfortably on my thumb finger which is one of the fingers you need to wear it on. Its light weight and I thought the cable would annoy me but I actually didn’t notice it and it didn’t snag on anything. When you wear the device you need to push the on button and you can see a low red light glow from the ring sensor. It shows the time and battery life indicator and after a few seconds it will begin to displaying the current O2 levels and your heart rate. It turns off automatically when you take it off. You will see a 10 second count down timeApp - I already owned a Wellue pulse oximeter and an O2 ring. I was able to load all devices on the app but you can only select and use the app with one device at a time. The app displays realtime SpO2 and heart rate readings on your phone when you are wearing it. When you download the app and add the Checkme 02 , the app sends the correct time to the CheckmeOn taking off the ring, if you open the app and swipe down it automatically downloads the data onto the app and you can see a report and graphic of the recording. The app gives you a simple report showing the high, low and average of your SpO2 and your pulse rate. It shows the duration of the recording and has a distribution : for SpO2 95-100, 90-94 ,<90 or the Pulse its >120, 50-120, <50Recording time is 1 min to 10 hoursHold the on button for 2 seconds to turn on, hold for 2 seconds to turn offThe device has 2 modes one for through the night and 1 for daytime monitoring. It would havce been useful to have something on the screen show you which mode you are in. The daytime mode leaves the screen on permanenetly, night time, the display turns offThe device is meant to store 4 recordings of data so you do need to download the data to the app.

Invaluable for recording Sp02 levels whilst sleeping
ViATOM Checkme o2-003 Firmware version 4.7.0I have used several different Pulse Oximeters during the last few years. Each has needed to be attached to a finger and has not, therefore, been suitable for providing information about my blood Oxygen levels through the night. This device, with its ring sensor attached to a finger or thumb, is easy to use and can be left in place for as long as required. The data (Oxygen Level, Pulse Rate and Motion) can then be exported to the ViHealth app and retained. Various graphical representations of the data are available allowing analysis over time. The manual for the app appears to have been written for an earlier version of the device firmware but it is not difficult to use and understand the app.I received the device on the third day of a cold when I felt quite unwell. I left the device attached to my thumb during the night and, despite my restlessness, it stayed in place and recorded an interesting set of data. I was very surprised, and quite worried, to see the poor oxygen levels and high pulse rate for half of my sleep time. A normal oximeter would not have recorded this information. The following night, when I was feeling better, I was delighted to see that my oxygen levels and pulse rate had recovered. When not being used with the sensor, the device becomes a very stylish watch, although seeing the time in bright sunshine is impossible. Simply press the button to display the time for one minute or press again to see the step count. Some users may find the step count helpful but it has its quirks.Firstly, it is extremely generous. Simply raising and lowering my hand a few centimetres adds two steps to the total. (This may appeal to those who want to achieve 10000 steps without exerting themselves!)Secondly, whenever the sensor is attached to the device the step count is reset to 0. This attribute could be useful if a user wants to count their steps (or hand movements) over a set period of time, but is not helpful if you want to automatically log a day's steps. The fact that the display is difficult to see in bright daylight means that it is impossible to know if the device is on or off. If you think it may be off and hold the button down to turn it on, you may inadvertently turn it off and thus reset the step count to 0.The device comes with a dust cover for the charging/sensor port. However, as this is very small and is easy to lose when the port is in use, it is a shame that the cover is not physically attached to the device.Although the manual explains how to clean the device it does not say how to clean the sensor. The Micro D charging cable needs to be looked after as replacements are not easy to find. It looks like a regular USB cable so could easily be misplaced. Conclusion: Although it is much more expensive than clip-on Pulse oximeters I am delighted with the Checkme 02 and would not wish to be without it.

Super pratique 👌
