Brilliant keeps my iguana vivarium full of bright uvb light it also keeps the temperatures at the range ideal for iguanas.having said that my viv is 6ftx6ftx8ft so this bulb would cook your reptiles if you put it in a 4ft shop bought enclosure quality is as good as any other mercury vapour bulb I've used and after 30yrs in the hobby that's a lot.

The tortoises are enjoying the heat from this lamp. It's not as expensive as others and is brilliant, so thank you.
