I had these shades on my wish list for a long time and finally bought them 3 months ago. Honestly, I wish I had ordered them sooner! I bought these for my bedroom. I'm the type of person who can't properly wake up and get out of bed without natural light, yet I live in a condo community and need privacy at night. With the Alexa integration, I have these set to close at sunset and open in the morning when my alarm goes off. It has made getting up in the morning SO much easier and happier for me. Installation was easy -- I made my boyfriend do it, but he's not that handy and it only took maybe an hour to remove the old blinds and install two of the new shades. The custom fit is perfect. I would consider myself moderately tech-forward and found set up via the Alexa app to be of easy to average difficulty. Setup of the included remote control was also seamless. Control with the voice assistant works great, even though Alexa says it's "malfunctioning," as you can see in the video. For some reason that happens every time I ask Alexa to control them, not sure what that's about. They have worked perfectly with no hiccups since the day they were installed. The 70% light filtration is perfect for me. If they are closed during daylight hours you can still see the inside the room, but they provide great privacy. They block direct lights from the outside at night (e.g. streetlights, my neighbors' porch lights) but do have an unobtrusive glow to them. All-in-all, one of my favorite smart home purchases! Highly recommend.

These are great. I found the look I wanted with these nice size samples and ordered directly from SmartWings. I am so happy with these blinds. I ordered them with a backing so they are completely light blocking. They came with remote already programmed. Installation was fairly easy. Great quality and customer service.

My new house has several large sliding glass doors lacking privacy all of those ‘custom shades’ companies are crazy expensive. I decided to bypass the unnecessary markup and research shades myself. It was risky to purchase something of this cost sight unseen (the doors are all 95” wide which is too large for any ‘off the shelf’ option), and I’m so glad I did! The shades are beautiful and high quality. I’m a solo woman and had only my drill and got them installed in about 20 minutes or less. Their customer service is excellent and very responsive too- shoutout to Cherry!! I was looking for white shades that felt modern and not super “linen-y” that provided privacy but that were not full blackout opacity. The closest option was something like ‘safari ivory’ which sounded more yellow/cream colored. After emailing customer service they responded within hours and confirmed exactly what I needed (this one is the ivory). This shade shown also has the valance cover and the Alexa-compatible motor. The remote is sleek and easy to use as well. During programming it went a bit haywire for a bit but I was also messing with it a lot; after a ten minute break leaving it alone it returned back to working perfectly and has since. The instructions are also very clear and helpful, too. It has deemed a bit trickier pairing them to my Alexa, but I think my model of echo show not being compatible is to blame, so I’m going to add the zigbee hub to the new order to keep it easy (didn’t realize that was needed for Alexa even if you have lots of echos etc— so double check that you have the exact correct echo hub model or make sure to add on the zigbee hub in the order). Since it was a ~$500 purchase due to the size (still much better than the $2500 quoted locally for the exact same product!) I ordered only one to test out first. These were so lovely I ordered the second set immediately that same day and put it on rush shipping (Cherry— is there any way we can ship the new one even faster? I can’t wait to have them both up!). If you’re shopping around all of the amazon brands and/or local options— order these! You’ll be so happy you did.

I purchased one to test out and I was so impressed that I ordered 4 more. We purchased this with the zigbee z-wave motor so we could link it to our Alexa and It works perfectly! Installing these shades took literally 4 mins for each window and connecting them was very easy. This company is also very easy to work with, they are very accommodating. They have a ton of colors to chose from as well as light filtering material so I recommend purchasing the sample swatch.

I had been looking to add some automated blinds to my home that would integrate with my Smart Home (Home Assistant, Samsung Smart Things, and Alexa). I was very impressed how in 3 days these blinds left China, to Japan, to Alaska, to Kentucky, and finally to Pennsylvania. So, overall, from the time you order until the time you receive the blinds is about a week. Impressive. I had ordered the swatches so there were no surprises. We opted for 70% light filtering which allows a good amount of light through with total privacy. Since this is a custom order the seller, ZBC- Smart Home, was in constant contact through Amazon having me double check my measurements and notifying me when the items had shipped. You need to purchase the remote to make it easier to setup and adjust the resting positions when opened or closed if not perfect from the factory. However, once integrated with Alexa I just verbally command the blinds. You can also setup routines in Alexa or whatever ecosystem you use to open and close blinds on schedules or triggers. I will mention that the Samsung Smart Things driver reverses the up and down functions for the blinds. This is discussed (search Google) with a resolution to use a different driver. Unfortunately, this is not an easy solution for a non-technical person. You won't be affected if using the Smartwings Zigbee motor connected directly to an Alexa with the hub built in. The blinds came with a level and gloves, along with mounting hardware. I opted for inside mount blinds which were so easy to install. My only gripe is that I opted for the matching valance material and on one blind, it was installed crooked. It appears the material is glued to the valance and not adjustable. However, you would never notice this unless looking very closely at the valance. My only concern is that the motors have a life span (3 years, I think) and the rechargeable batteries in the motor are not serviceable. I asked the company about this, and they reminded me of the standard 2-year warranty as well as telling me to contact them if there are any problems. As long as I can get replacement motors at a reasonable price I won't be concerned. But I can't verify this. So overall I'm very happy with the company and the blinds. I will use these for a few months and if problem free will order more.

Wow! These are a great value. Roller casing is metal, everything looks very high quality. We upgraded to the fabric wrap at the top and white bar at the bottom. Definitely start with the fabric sample to choose. These were easy to install and program. Motors aren’t too loud. Also arrived really quickly for a custom product. Ours came out to less than half the cost of the professional quote we got. Highly recommend!

I placed an order for one shade to test it out with Z-Wave and Home Assistant for Home Automation and it works good. The shade I ordered was slightly too narrow for the window so there might have been a mistake in manufacturing. This was not an issue since I contacted the customer support at ZBC-Smart Home and they sent a new one FREE! I ordered 9 shades total and they are working great with the remote. They were easy to setup and install. The mounting brackets are easy to attach and remove from the shade housing yet grip the shade tight and allow for adjustment. I contacted customer support a few times before ordering and after ordering to ask questions and they have been great to work with. I highly recommend ordering these shades from ZBC-Smart Home!

I don't usually write reviews, but I have been so impressed with both the Smartwings motorized blinds and the customer service that I wanted to share. We have six large picture windows in our living room that get a lot of sun, so we use shades a lot, especially in the summer. Up until now we've had manual roller shades, but rolling all six shades up and down each day, sometimes multiple times, was a chore. I wanted motorized blinds but was hesitant because of the price and complexity of setting up so many blinds to work together. Fortunately, the set up was fairly easy as the instructions are clear and using them has been a joy. To be able to control all the blinds from either the remote or the app is wonderful. In addition, setting schedules for the blinds to automatically open or close has been a game changer. While the price for my large windows wasn't cheap, I found Smartwings to be much more reasonable than most other offerings on the internet. On top of that, the customer service has been top notch. I've had several changes that have been needed, and Cherry, the customer service agent, has been friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. Since these shades are shipped from China, I was initially concerned about the shipping time, but in fact they came way quicker than I expected. One of the shipments arrived within 48 hours! All that to say, I have been impressed by the company and their ability to deliver a solid product in a timely and friendly fashion.
