Upgraded 3D Printer Build Surface Borosilicate Glass Plate 235mm x 235mm x 4mm for Creality Ender 3/Ender Pro3/Ender 5/CR20/CR20 Pro 3D Printer

Our stock build plate snapped in half and we purchased this as a replacement. You will need bigger clips to clamp down this glass build plate, and use glue stick for better adhesion. We tried salt water as others suggested but had little success. Prints scrape right off even with glue stick.

This eliminated PLA adhesion problems completely. The trick is to not use any glue , just hand wash the glasswith dish soap and lay between paper towels until dry. Next day I installed it on the printer and have been using it without having to clean it again for a month. I wait for the bed to cool, tilt off the print and lightly scrap away any trace of what ever was printed with a razer. Thats it, ready for another print. Nozzle 200 degrees, bed 60 degrees.

i specifically wanted a borosilicate plate rather than tempered. this one works really well. i have been printing on it since i installed it, and have no plans to remove it. the only challenge was finding out how much glue (from the glue stick) to put down before printing. now that i've figure that out, everything has been smooth sailing.

Overall quality is great. Mine came with a small scratch in the top corner. A little disappointed in that but I don't think it will affect prints. So far doing some test prints adhesion has been great. Haven't had to use glue, hairspray or anything. Just cleaned with some windex.

If you struggle with removing your 3D prints from your current build plate without destroying them in the process, do yourself a favor and buy this product.Adhesion for 95% of our prints is great but they still come off with finger pressure. Buy a $1 spray can of Aquanet unscented hairspray for tall prints with a small footprint.You will kick yourself for not buying this sooner!

I bought this and it immediately helped with bed leveling and print quality. I unfortunately made the mistake of listening to people who said use glue to adhere PLA to the bed. After an hour of scraping I tore off a piece of glass adhered to the PLA. I went on reddit and found out that instead of glue, I should use very salty water wiped onto the glass just before starting a print. This has caused all my prints to stay put perfectly, while allowing them to pop right off with 0 force once the bed cools down.TL;DR, use salt water.

This thing works beautifully with my printer. I didn’t like the idea of using clips to hold glass so I just used a little bit of high temperature tolerant tape (kapton) to hold it on the bed. Works great with PLA at 60C I clean it every print with a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol and then when it cools the prints release on their own.

really nice upgrade for my ender 3. Fits perfect and things adhere nicely. Just remember to move the z stop up for added height.

Glass bed has excellent adhesion and was an awesome replacement for the magnetic bed. Had an issue that was resolved very quickly, highly recommend this product t and company.
