Aquarium CO2 Acrylic Drop Checker CO2 Indicator (Tear Drop & 15ml)

If you've got a planted aquarium then you need to make sure you are injecting enough CO2 to keep those plants alive and thriving but not so much you kill the fish. This monitor works like a charm and blends in nicely.

I've broken two of the glass drop checkers and finally discovered this acrylic masterpiece.

It was easy to get the drops in and set up in water. Color changed rapidly once water was dosed with co2 heavily and seemed to track well with relative injection amounts vs color. The green bead at the top is kinda nice to the see right color.Four stars because I don’t like that you can only mount it parallel to the glass. If any mounting orientation was possible it’d be 10/10

Easy to use and keeps aquarium safe when using C02. Just takes a look to make sure levels are ok.

I had this in my 29 planted aquarium to monitor co2. And yes it's glass I have dropped my by accident when I switched to another aquarium.

I bought this drop checker because I thought the design was interesting and because it had a unique side mount which fit well in my aquarium. Unfortunately, it leaks and the fluid only stays in the container for 24 hours our so, pretty much making it useless. It's not worth the effort to return it, so I'll leave you with a resounding buyer beware.

We purchased several of these but the color never changed no matter how many CO2 tablets we used. It got to the point that we were worried that the fish would suffocate.

I've had several CO2 checkers over the years, with some being quite expensive when they all do the same thing. I wanted to give this little gadget a try. I love the shape and the size. I like the indicator to let you know what the CO2 levels are.The instructions were a little tricky, but I'm putting that on user error, not on the device. I noticed that some other people in the reviews expected solution. As did I, but then I went back and realized I bought the CO2 checker not the checker + solution combo. No worries, I have plenty at home, but be sure to double check which one you are picking if you need solution!I may just end up buying a couple more of these as backups.

Super easy to setup and install. They have upgraded the design for the "green ball" people reference loosing is no longer - it's permanently a part of the design now. The indicator works great. I have it on the opposite side from my diffuser. It does take about 1-2 hours to respond to CO² levels but that's standard. Made from acrylic and not glass so you can't break it.

El producto es de plástico pero se ve bien. El verdadero problema es que la soporte de succión incluida NO lo detiene. El drop checker se la pasa cayendose a pesar de que que el vidrio está limpio. No dura ni un solo día fijo en su posición. Me consta que es la soporte de succión porque en el mismo vidrio tengo el termometro con una base aún más pequeña.

I've used CO2 Solutions for many years - I am confident that something is up with this product as it doesn't show any color at all.
