So Simple...Genius!
I have been looking for a product just like this for years, without success. I am so happy that someone finally made it! I wasn't sure it was really true, until I received it. The last four illustrations on the product listing were VERY confusing, actually illustrating what this product is NOT. So I am happy to report unambiguously what this product IS.What they have done is incorporated both the hooks and the loops of hook and loop fasteners (Velcro) into the same side of the strap. The resulting strap attaches to itself when folded over, unlike regular velcro which would simply be hook to hook, or loop to loop, when folded over. The result is a product that seems to work well. The adhesion is not as strong as regular Velcro, since the density of the mating pairs is at best half that of pure hook and loop pairs. But the way they use the buckles means that the force is applied IN LINE WITH the webbing, as opposed to pulling the layers apart. The result seems to work pretty well.I am using it most immediately to hold my camp cots together in the folded state, where the foam cushion pushes to unfold them (see pic). It seems to hold well, and is simplicity itself to use. My older Velcro straps would start to lose their grip after a few months of daily use, so it will be interesting to see how well this product holds up. But at 13.99 for 49.2 feet as of the time of this review, I’ll have plenty of spare material to replace it when needed. I think it is a good value, and will be useful for many other things around the house, too.It would have been nice if the product was supplied in packaging better suited to long-term storage and use, instead of the somewhat delicate and non-stiffened clear-bag it comes in, but this is a minor quibble. I will update this review if it doesn’t hold up reasonably well for daily use, but at this point I am happy to have it!

Velcro
This velcro comes with buckles. I haven't figured out how that would assist, but the velcro is strong enough for my use. It's not the strongest, though. It's good for lighter holds.

Better Flexibility than Duct Tape, Bailing Wire, or Chewing Gum
How often do you order buy something for a known practical of desired use and find out that it can even help in a medical emergency, something it's never associated with, as an ability? The day I rode my bike to the Post Office to pick up my Amazon order, which included the Viaky Nylon Hook & Loop set... which they advertised as 'cable ties,' I had immediate need before even leaving the parking lot. Yes, this is an excellent solution for organizing cables. I had been using zip ties, which work extremely well for not much money... until you want to remove or add another cable, in which case you have to cut the and throw them away, starting over. Hook and Loop tech just takes a snug pull to loosen, and a snug pull to retighten... which is also to say, it is ADJUSTIBLE.That feature would come into play in my emergency use, as well. Because as I was leaving the Post Office with my bike loaded with packages from Amazon, my front wheel lost traction in a turn due soft mud concealed beneath healthy looking grass and I went down. I was on the Tumbling team in H.S. and have, even at age 77, made good use of that in unexpected falls and bike crashes, even at 20mph, landing with tuck and roll to minimize injuries to scrapes and bruises. But that day, the packages strapped down on the rear of the bike not only used a shift in balance such that the bike did not fall predictably, but neither could my leg clear the packages for 'graceful' trajectory of my carcass. I landed badly and fractured my fibula and badly sprained my ankle. One of the other items I had previously ordered was Sam's Splints, which everyone should have as part of their emergency health kits in their home, and car, and if you go riding or hiking in the woods as do I, it should be in your back pack or saddle bag on your off-road vehicle. Forgive my blatant promotion of the Splint, but it would not exist except for my Father-in Law, who as a well known inventor (first home-dialysis machine, pigeon-hole parking, many more), helped get it to market. SAM's Splint is a remarkable do-all quick-and-dirty splint useful for anything save a full body cast need. It cuts with scissors to any size/shape, so scissors are a logical part of an emergency kit, too, as is tape. The splint is a thin aluminum sheet with foam on both sides for softness next to skin but cut, it is possible that you end up with aluminum 'spurs' which can be very sharp.IMAGE: So I cut up my splint, and two lengths of Hook and Loop, and taped the splint edges where I cut, creating two long pieces formed in a curvature to fit my leg for opposite sides of my leg, and used the scraps to 'enclose' the leg where I would end up using the Hook & Loop straps to FIRMLY brace my leg, as shown. You cut the straps to any desired length, and use the buckles to 'tie down.' With a firm enough grip, it can become uncomfortable over time, and restrict blood flow much like a touriquet, so by the time I got home and was safely seated at my desk, all I had to do was loosen the Hook and Loop straps and reaffix, for relief. Against bare skin, it can get sweaty, so it is easy to remove the splint once in the shower, then bath and dry, and replace the splint before leaving the shower. Now, several weeks later, my leg is doing well enough that I don't wear it all the time, but I keep it and the Hook & Loop straps for use when I get back on the Bike. And while I don't recommend DIY bone mending, I simply don't 'do Doctors' for numerous reasons, not to mention there are none where I live, and I don't have easy transportations access to another community. The point is, Hook and Loop straps, can be used for almost anything you can think of, that needs temporary or long-term 'binding'.There point of flexibility is limited only by your imagination. Anything you need to corral, bind, or organize, which relates either to girth, adjacency, or holes at least as wide as the buckles, is a candidate.Likes: quick and dirty, easy-peasy, universally flexible, and at near 25 cents a food, VERY economical. Near 50' of for many of us could be a lifetime supply.Dislikes: it comes exactly as pictured, in a clear plastic bag. DO NOT take it out of the bag because it far too easily becomes uncoiled and will soon enough end up like a tangled power cord, only worse: it sticks to itself. LOL (or not so much). Instead, cut a corner off the bag closest to the end of the roll, visible through the bag, and maneuver it to where you can grab and pull it through the opening CAREFULLY so as not to rip the bag wider open. Pour out any buckles you need. The company ought to package it in a skinny box with a pull-through slot, but that would increase the cost perhaps more than would make it as attractive.

Great kit to make your own custom cable ties
I have a drawer full of power supplies with cords, and have never been happy with just coiling them for storage. With this kit I’ve been able to make my own custom cable ties for them! I have found that cutting about 7” of this hook and loop material is enough to make a sturdy wrap for a typical PC power cord, making a nice tight bundle. The hook and loop material is sturdy and holds well. My only complaint is that it’s not two-sided allowing me to attach the tie to the cord full-time like others I’ve seen. Still this kit is a great value for the money. It also works great on the bigger power cords in my garage. Recommended.

Great idea - create your sizes of adjustable, reuseable straps
I ordered this to create my own size straps that are adjustable and reuseable. What a brilliant idea to have one big roll provided with buckles. This concept got oohs and ahhs from my cousin and friends. The hook and loop roll (looks and works just like Velcro) is black and of a medium thickness which normally comes with 60 metal buckles. The product hooks well to itself. I took off one star for sending less than the advertised 60 buckles (my package only had around 40 or so). I love this as it's a great organizing type tool as broad as your imagination from electrical cords and ropes to towels and sheets, and everything in between! I hope this information is helpful.

Good adhesion and just as good as velcro ties but even better for larger tasks.
I'm a big fan of "VELCRO Brand ONE WRAP Thin Ties" for cable management. They are literally just a piece of 8" long velcro! I use them for other stuff all the time and tend to attach them to each other to make longer ties. This stuff works great for replacing my making makeshift ties. I love that I can cut it to the perfect size for what I need it for. (Helpful that it's also wider then the velcro ties I have.) It seems to be on part with adhesion when compared to the smaller velcro ties I have. This seems like a good value ($13.99) when comparing to other similar products with the pieces precut and buckles already attached.
