I got this for my daughter for Christmas so I was highly critical in my research.I chose this one and I am glad I did.The case is not only attractive but very well made and the hinges are nice and sturdy.The inside felt and markings feel like they should stand up to many years of play.The handle is as I hoped, strong and should not break.Yes I do recommend this to anyone who wants quality for their money.Thank you for reading my review.The engineer

nice quality, case is great

This is my first ever Backgammon set.The quality of the case being leather or leather-like material feels great. The leather/leather-like cups with felt inside make it nice to roll die. I stashed the 6 d6 die I got into the middle pocket between the places where you keep both sides of checkers. My only disappointment is how secure the checkers are after I close the box. When I move them box in circles all around and then open it up again, the checkers get shuffled around in their place and move into the median between the dice pocket and the checkers pocket. Now thankfully the checkers don’t move all over the board, otherwise I would’ve given this a 1 but having it move around at all knocked the rating down 1 star

It is good quality, has a reasonable price, and is a regular adult size. The only ones I found at a store were miniature.
