Mil-Tec US Style Canteen (Black, Canteen and Cup)

This is awesome its well worth 7 bucks it took a couple weeks to get but it was worth it, I bought another cheap canteen from another supplier and it was a peice of crap the stitching came out and the cap broke off! So I threw it at a bear.this MIL-Tec canteen thow is keekace its tough and durable and the cup it comes with fits all perfect together in the sheath.i refuse to drink out of anything else

Canteen and all included are of excellent quality. Recommend this product if you are looking for a good water bottle for camping, hiking, BOB, or other need. Customer service is great when a delivery issue arose. Quickly resolved.......Highly recommend.

Reminds me of the canteen I carried in the military, although plastic. Come with Alice clips, aluminum cup and cover. I compared it to my Rothco and didn't see much difference, except the snaps look sturdier and the fabric is thicker. Good buy, if you like this style of canteen vs wearing a camel back.

This is not a real G.I. sized canteen, it's smaller but superficially resembles the real thing...hence the name "US style." I was not aware of this distinction when I bought it, but I guess what it really means is it's a kid's toy. The construction is also about what I'd expect of a toy. The cup is a joke made of aluminum. The nylon webbing on the cover isn't strong enough to tie down the Alice clips, so I don't think it would last a week if you actually had water in the canteen.

1.made BPA which is highly toxic. threw it out2.canteen handle gets red hot even if you only heat the corner far away from the handle , caution you been warned !3. cap leaks , I tried to best to tighen4. pouch is ok I use it because it matches my bag ..and I have a real canteen made in the usa to replace this cheap aluminum garbage5. the cold war era molly clips work good they are easyer than maxpedition molly straps to attach to bags6. the same pouch can hold water purification tabs perfit

Ok product. Canteen arrived on time and in a secure box. All of the contents were there. Canteen has a plastic smell to it and the canteen cup is made of an inexpensive aluminum. Canteen cup was difficult to remove from pouch, but with some elbow grease I was finally able to remove the cup. The pouch pins to secure to your belt were flimsy and I could not open without possibly damaging.Nothing that some S hooks could not resolve. All in all, the canteen looks like it will serve its purpose on a lite hike or camping trip.

Basic tenants of wilderness survival: have water, make fire, be comfortable in the current elements. This canteen include a cup and a cover for your pistol belt. The cover features another pocket for water purification tablets or a firestarter (or both). Holds up well and is one of your basic camping needs. Top recommendation.

It is about 750/800 Ml I would say. So pretty good size for work, or a respectable hike. No leaks and I personally don't notice any funny taste from the plastic ( Seen this has been an issue for some in reviews)Case seems well made enough. The Aluminium mess cup that comes with it is fine. A little tight to get the cup from the case, but I am sure the case will loosen with use. Personally no need for it, and I removed it. The case seems slightly loose with it removed. But no problem.My gut feeling is it could of done with being a cheaper. Not to say I have any issue with its performance, and will be keeping it.

Well made bottle and cover. Read reviews and checked the seal on the cap as soon as it arrived. Had to align the seal which was no problem. No damage to the seal as the cap was not fully tightened when I got it. Cup is a tight fit in cover. Cup heats up to much for you to be able to drink anything hot from it without burning your lips but I considered the cup an extra anyway. Cover is good quality and I have 50 purifying tablets fitted in the pouch. Longer delivery time but within time scale provided.

Had this product before, will again. I replace the canteen with a nalgene oasis canteen, and have a "better" kidney cup. What's nice about this model is that it all fits properly. Most other kits don't hold my nalgene and a bigger cup no problem. Most holsters can't fit a canteen and cup. This is the one.Now....... If they could just keep the buttons from falling off ...

Clip to belt was useless

This does exactly what it says on the tin. A nice sturdy container and the metal mug is excellent when used with a small field burner. The little pocket on the front of the carrier is great for carrying your puri tabs. Not quite 5 stars as the belt holder is not very well designed and given the weight when full, could fail. Still a good item at a great price.
