Merino Protect 100% Merino Wool T-Shirt Women Crew Neck Tops Short Sleeve Base Layers for Travel Hiking Tee

Bought the Icebreaker Merino Womens Spector Short Sleeve T-Shirt, the METARINO Merino Wool T-Shirt Women Short Sleeve Lightweight Crew Neck and the Merino Protect 100% Merino Wool T-Shirt Women Crew Neck Tops Short Sleeve so I could compare all three. (I also bought a shirt from Sheep Run but it has yet to arrive and the projected delivery date is 20 days after the others arrived, so I'll update if and when that one shows up. )Of the Icebreaker, the Metarino, and the Merino Protect; they all felt the same. Soft and comfortable. The Icebreaker and the Metarino were an inch longer in the body, but for shorty me length isn't an issue. Only the lighter colors has any "see-through ness" but upon closer inspection that had more to do with the color than the weight or thickness of the material. All were the same. The Metarino had slightly better stitching but other than that they all could have been from the same company. The biggest difference was the price. The Icebreaker was $65, the Metarino was $40 and the Merino Protect was $35. The Merino Protect also offered more color choices! So for my money I'll be ordering more of the Merino Protect.

Very nice comfortable shirt. I am taking a trip soon and need to pack light. I read that these Merino wool shirts wick away moisture and can be worn for multiple days in a row if needed. I am doing a test with it - so far have worn three times and not washed it. This is amazing for me as I NEVER can wear a shirt twice!!As I mentioned, I have not washed the shirt yet but I am hopeful it will turn out nice after washing.

I'm 5' 7" 140 lbs and normally wear a M shirt. However, I bought L so that I could dry in the dryer without fear. So far I have washed (cold normal or delicate cycle) and dryed (low heat) this shirt twice, and it fits perfectly. I have not yet seen any holes appear. Odor control aspect of merino wool seemed to work well on recent trip to Europe where I was only able to wash the shirt once but wore it several days. Thermoregulation seemed good too, and the shirt is not scratchy. However, I did not do any strenuous workouts--just lots of walking. Deep purple color is beautiful.

Very classy black top. Very comfortable and washes well. Ideal for layering.

Love my new merino wool t-shirts. I will be packing them for our up coming trip. I am still waiting for the code for free socks that was sent with my shirts. Is it just a tease?? No code and no free socks. Please don’t promise what you don’t deliver on.

This shirt fits great. Is soft. Haven't worn it yet. Am doing the 4/3 Inca trail/Machu Picchu next week...we shall see how it does. Ordered another, too. But tried to get the free pair of wool socks through the site...no go, doesn't work.

Great Product at a great price and I don't have to dryclean

A bit thin and scratchy but I was pleasantly surprised by it. It is long enough on my 5’7” body that it goes down where it needs to without giving the “crop top” effect which most t-shirts have nowadays unfortunately. I wish the shape were less boxy and more form-fitted to an hourglass figure/woman’s shape but I think it overall measures true to size, if a little bit tight honestly. I may or may not buy another one just to get it tailored and see if that works better. Otherwise, fantastic item for the price. Worth the ~$30 100%. I like the look it has on the shoulders. Sleeves are a normal length (not too short).
