Clear Polycarbonate Sheet 12" x 12" (1/16" Thick)

This Clear Polycarbonate sheet was perfect for the library box project at my daughter's elementary school where she is a principal. It's a great product. Easy to work with. No splintering after cutting and drilling on it. Very clear and transparent almost like glass. But better than glass for this purpose.

Nice polycarbonate plastic sheets. They are "nominal cut" so if you need exactly 12 X 24 inch pieces, you'll need to get larger pieces and cut them down. The sheets I received were 1/8" smaller, but it didn't matter for the project I was doing, as I needed to cut them down to a smaller size. The sheets were clean and both sides had masking plastic film to protect from scratches. The two pieces were sipped loose in a box, but they didn't have any damage to the edges. I needed white panels, but it was easy to paint the backside of the sheet with white paint. That way, the exposed face is smooth and shiny, and not susceptible to the paint chalking over time. Polycarbonate holds up extremely well to sunlight.

Like the thickness. Just wish I could have gotten a custom size for the same price! But it works outdoors on a wooden table.

Sturdy, clear, exactly as advertised. Works as needed. They cover both sides to ensure it’s safe in the box. It does, however, have a tiny mark toward a corner. Doesn’t affect quality, but it would have been unfortunate if I needed it completely and consistently clear.
