Great product
Amazingly well put together, great collection be sure to grab it before it is removed. Virus positives are from the cracks for the PC games on the disk, not from actual viruses (i went through every positive to check). !00% worth the money in my opinion.

So many games, you'll never lack for something to play.
What I like:Tons of games.Nice hard drive enclosure.Decent frontend software. Most games "just work" and have appropriate settings and bezels pre-set.What I don't like:You're getting a used drive for this price (not surprising, but mine had something like 12000 hours on it.)Overwhelming number of games, and some games are buried deep in the menus.I'd like to have better documentation on how to tweak the frontend. Instructions are bare-bone.I'd like to not have the "PC Roms." That isn't "retro" to me.Overall, a huge collection for not much more than the hard drive and enclosure itself.

I have stared into the abyss that is this emulation drive
Great drive with one caveat. Not everything worked out of the box. I clicked Majora's Mask on 3ds and... nothing. Luckily I'm fairly tech savy & I was able to get Citra to work. I'm still working on getting the N64 to work as well. I wish there were more instructions on emulator specific controls. (e.g., how do you switch screens on the DS? How do you use fast forward mode?) The interface is spectacular with the exception that it's easy to get lost in. I spent 10 minutes trying to get back to the various platforms. But this is a sign of my lack of familiarity for Hyperspin. Also I'm not sure if I can update the emulators? Or add more back ups? I think a guide learning how to add more backups would be great. In general not as plug & go as advertised (just for the games that I want to play), but if they wrote some emulator specific trouble shooting & provided more detail it would be near perfect.

Doesn't work , no customer service!
I followed the instructions and the only thing that happens when I go to launch the program is a infinite black screen. Contacted their support line and never got a response. DO NOT BUY

Most games work, but...
I saw this on a YouTube review from TechDweeb, but this doesn't really match his description and review. There are (as usual with all these prebuilt systems) multiple duplicate games. I have not found any PC games on the drive and selecting a specific game system is not provided. Instead you are shown a spinning wheel (HyperSpin) that shows games by different genre and there are mix of systems shown for the same game. I have not figured out a way to just see all games available for a particular system or just see the games for each different system. You will see a lot of duplicates and many games that do not work or don't exist as shown on the spinning menu. There are many pinball games that are meant for actual mechanical pinball machines and they do nothing at all in this system, but yet they are part of the package and count on number of games on the drive just taking up space. There is another version of this claiming it has the same number of games (40000 plus), plus 600 or so PC AAA games, but how can that be true on the same size hard drive? The hard drive itself is 12TB, but it's as expected a mechanical drive and there were scratches on the drive case, which makes me wonder if it's a used or refurbished drive. Overall, I do not recommend this for even the discounted price with coupon being $280. If the price was around $150, then it's not a bad deal to have all the game roms in one place, but if they didn't waste so much space with duplicates and games that do not work, they could probably fit all the games on a 5TB drive instead. This may be a way to try and inflate the value by overloading the drive to limit on a 12TB with wasted data, which never get used.

It legit just works out of the box!!
I got this product on a whim so that could play all the old retro games from my childhood and share the fun times with friends and my nieces and nephews. To my surprise the gaming library was massive and had all that I could ask for and more!!More surprising again is that it all just works out of the box. Just plug and play!!I was expecting a boot drive and system adjustments but no, I just plugged it in and away I went.I couldn't recommend it more and if a newer larger one comes out, ill be in on that too.

Hyperspin is okay.
The Hyperspin drive is really clever. It runs way different than batocera. First, it's very arcade, flashy and WOW. The game count is there and there are some duplicates or different versions of one game.I'm running Hyperspin on a 4800h AMD mini PC with 16gb of RAM.Navigation in hyperspin is smooth. Very little to no stutter. Every game is scrapped. All they're is very clever. They're using PC titles for some Xbox and PS 2
