Great for teething puppies!
Good Update: As our puppy ages and needs a more durable chew that isn’t rock hard as her adult teeth are almost fully in, I contacted the company for possibility of an intermediate chew. They will be rolling out in May with new sizes and more variety in terms of durability and hardness and will have an intermediate level available. As it’s cellulose (basically an insoluble fiber) and veggie oil, even though she has some flakes in her poop, she doesn’t have any digestive issues at all nor an upset stomach thankfully!….We have a close to 5 month old mini Austrialian Labradoodle. Due to her mix of several breeds, she will be a “mouthy” dog and is definitely teething. Our problem in finding a chew toy is this mix of durability and “give” for a dog her age, preventing damage to teeth without it having to be a treat and also not being concerned that she will chew off giant chunks or if they will make her sick from the small pieces. We currently have the small softer one, it has lasted way longer than the puppy and modest chewer nylabones that are more “rubbery” and appropriately for young teeth, yet seem to get destroyed quickly. Our puppy would go at them and I was constantly checking, removing pieces that were coming off in larger that rice size pieces. The shavings that she consumed would cause her to throw up.The puppy power chews were much too hard, and she avoids them (which is probably better for her dental health). This one has seemed to fit the bill (along with a Petstages chew maple wood stick, though she prefers this one and this one has zero nylon). The pieces that come off are definitely smaller than a grain of rice (you will have to dustbust the pieces), it’s soft enough for give and has last two weeks!!!! And, she does not get sick from it. I think she actually naturally digests less of it because it’s not sticky. It’s the perfect size for a puppy or smaller dog who is teething and needs something easier on the tummy and needs a truly modest chew that isn’t a food treat.

Dangerous!!! don’t buy!!!
This is horrible! Gave it to my dog yesterday- he gnawed it for about 30 minutes but it shredded too quickly (he is NOT an “aggressive chewer”).6 hours later -lots of vomiting up the indigestible pieces. I will NEVER purchase this again. Wish I could get money back but I hope I save someone else from buying it.

Great product! Dog loves it
This chew toy is a favorite go-to toy for my dog. It has lasted for weeks and there is still a lot left. The best part is that there is no plastic in this and the bone makes very small flakes when chewed. I have already bought a replacement to be used when needed. If you have an avid chewer, get this product.

Regular is quite soft; tough is quite hard
I bought three large tough beef on 10/28/23 for my three dogs, a 45 lb. shepherd/pitty mix, a 65 lb. lab/pitty mix, and a 32 lb. Australian cattle dog, all moderate to aggressive chewers. The dogs showed interest, mostly for their novelty, I believe, but soon went back to their collection of Nyla ones, Galileo bones, bullibones, benebone, Gorilla Chews, and Kongs. Check the photo. As you can see, they have very little damage. In my assessment, they are too hard. When they hit the floor, you could swear they’d shatter from the sound they make, like they are made of porcelain or something. I’d love to see what their hardness is on the Mohs scale. So, on 11/1/23 a bought the small regular beef 3-pack. Look at the photo, lower left. Enough said? The dogs loved them, but you can scratch these with your fingernails. Too soft! These might be appropriate for the smallest and lightest breeds only. They need to make an intermediate size, and of intermediate hardness. As an aside, those Galileo bones are 5+ years old, are mostly ignored these days, the Nylabones range in age from ~4 years (big red), down to new (the ring), and are enjoyed. They last. Kings are totally ignored altogether unless I suff food in them. The Gorilla Chews are great. They get attention, are all wood, safe, and last a long time, they just need to come in a wider variety of shapes and thicknesses.I like this product, but make a medium size, medium hardness, please.

Not meant for my dog
I bought this since my friend got it for their golden retriever and my dog seemed to enjoy it when we had our playdate. I thought the soft chew toughness would be ok since she didn't seem to chew through it too fast. My friend also had the classic, no flavor. I ordered the large beef flavor and the photo shows only 30 minutes of me giving it to my pup. For reference, my dog is a 60lb husky rottweiler mix. I can't blame the company because I do know that my dog is an aggressive chewer so I should have followed my gut. It definitely does leave a very big mess, which I don't mind cleaning. I will purchase from this brand again, I just plan on getting the HARD bone.

Dog bones
My dogs love these bones. It keeps them occupied. I like them because they are digestible. They make a small mess from the small fragments that are left behind from aggressive chewing but well worth it.

Too big & rock hard
Mini is WAY to large for a 9 and 10 lb. dog. Also, the "soft" is hard as a rock. Our vet said never give the dogs hard bones, they are can damage the teeth. Our small Papillion broke a tooth on a hard bone when she was younger. Don't waste your money. LU

Wanted it to to be a good option.
Our dog has food allergies and we needed a chew toy that was for dogs with allergies (no chicken or beef). This unflavored bone was liked by our dog. As a heads-up it does break down and leave flecks of bone on the floor. Some of these flecks were ingested. During the two days we let our dog use this chew toy, she started dry heaving. It could be coincidental, however this was the only new item that was introduced during that time. We discontinued use and our dog has been fine. Really wanted this to be a good option for our dog - hopefully other dogs have a better experience.
