I live in a NYC apartment. This ironing board folds easily and hangs nicely in the coat closet, taking up minimal space. It is easy to use and well made. The thing that made me want to write this review (something I rarely do) is the remarkable customer service I got. My wife, in closing the ironing board, forced the plastic locking mechanism, and it broke. It was our fault, but I contacted the company asking if they could help us out. They responded quickly and immediately sent out a replacement part for free. That sort of responsiveness for an item that, frankly isn't all that expensive, is most exceptional. It will get them my business in the future. That's for sure.

I thought my ironing days were over until this lightweight ironing board arrived on my porch. It is easy to open, has a compact size and the pad is nice and thick. I am looking forward to easy ironing with this new board.

I have needed a new ironing board for years. I tried using a mini countertop one, and one that folded down while hung from the back of a door. Nothing compares to a good ironing board and I was willing to spend a bit more, but not a crazy amount.I just tried it out and, overall, it seems to fit the bill. Really compact, lightweight yet sturdy and stable, easy to open, and nice, thick padding. I bought the one with Turbo Zone but haven't used it yet.My big question is, why is the iron stand oriented horizontally?!I've watched the demos and video reviews to see what I'm missing. Every video showed the iron resting face down on its plate, although one was slightly tipped. My T-Fal iron does not recommend setting it face down while in use, but I tried it anyway. The steam blasted out in that position! Not one of the videos showed the iron steaming so I wonder, why didn't it happen in those videos? It didn't show them turning the steam down or off before setting the iron down. What, don't people use steam?!Also, my iron did not feel secure while placed in that area. It didn't fit snugly. Maybe it should be adjustable. It would be nice to have more guidance about how to use that stand.Aside from that, I'm happy with my purchase!

This ironing board is perfect. The height is adjustable and it can fold up to easily slide into storage in small spaces. I think the board cover is pleasing to the eye, not just some boring, ugly cover. It wasn't as padded as I was hoping it to be, but it is still a nice fabric - not thin with a bit of padding underneath. The iron rest is helpful but doesn't securely keep the iron in place but is still very helpful. Would highly recommend this as a long term ironing board.

Great value. Did everything I wanted it to do... opens to adjustable heights without a struggle, folds easily and stores in narrow spaces. The cover is soft enough to get good results with ironing. Bravo!

It's not as stout or large as our old one, but it works fine. The fact that the pad and cover are reinstalled is a big plus.

I have a fantastic ironing board made by Reliable. It is very long, adjusts to very tall, has a piece that provides a squared off end, closes magnetically, has a sturdy platform that holds my steam generator, and is rock steady. It is also huge.In addition to using it to iron, I also use it to fold laundry. I mainly only iron my sheets, so I don't iron every time I do laundry. I was looking for something compact that I could use to fold my regular laundry, that would take less space, hang on the rod in the closet, and be less heavy to lug around.This one was one of the few that didn't have an attached iron rest, and was tall enough that I wouldn't have to bend over when folding, so I ordered it.It is okay for my purposes, which is to fold some clothes, stack them off to the side, then go put them away and repeat with the next batch of clothes. It is light, hangs well in the closet, and takes up WAY less floor real estate than my good ironing board.I wouldn't want to use this for ironing, though. The lightness that allows me to hang it on the rod, and easily move it around, means that it is less steady than my good board. It is pretty easy to make it wobble. I think ironing would involve holding the board steady with one hand while ironing with the other, or maybe bracing the board against your body, and only ironing toward yourself - mind the steam!I also think it is overpriced for what it is. It was one of the less expensive compact boards, but still is not worth the cost. I once got a $30 ironing board at a big box store for $3 due to an mis-ring that I didn't notice until later, and that board was more stable than this one.You can get a much better board for less money than this one if you are okay with a full size board. If you need the compact size, I would consider spending a bit more money, or looking at a wall hanging fold-away before buying this one, as you can do better for your money.I don't hate it, and it isn't the worst ironing board I have ever used, but it is FAR from the best.

This product is the way they had described it. Lightweight & very stable for a person like me. The only thing I don’t like is where you place the iron, it sinks in. What is the purpose of that?Why is it not a flat surface? Asjde from that, I would highly recommend this ironing board.

Esta funda es para burros de plancha grandes. Al mío le quedó muy bien. El único detalle es que las cintas que trae para sujetarlo vienen cortas y no alcanzan para unirlas. Yo lo solucioné agregando una tira más de ese material y lo pude unir. Ojalá dejen las cintas más largas.A toda la logística de entrega les agradezco el haberme llevado el producto antes de lo indicado. Lo aprecio mucho.RETRO: Adquirí otra funda como ésta pero ahora fue para regalar y están felices con ella porque en verdad es muy buena ya que resiste el calor bastante bien y queda toda acolchonada. Gracias Amazon y proveedor por entregarla antes de lo indicado, a pesar de que tuvieron problemas con la exportación. Lo aprecio en verdad!

En tiendas locales es difícil encontrar un producto del tamaño y calidad ee este. Comprado en oferta (al 50% de otros modelos en la misma tienda Amazon) parece resistente y se ajusta como guante a la tabla de plancheo. Una semana de uso, y va bien. Seguiré informando, porque lo importante es que dure y funcione como el primer día.
