Gets the job done, but they use a poor quality leather. The laces have more of a plastic feel. If you are lacing a quality glove, source a better quality lace.

This lace kit does what it is suppose to do. The leather seems to be sturdy and thick and so far has held up to the normal abuse a coaches glove takes. I have the same glove from High School (23 years ago) and the laces are the only thing that are wearing away. So to not have to invest hundreds of dollars into a new glove I decided to pick up a lace kit and just redo the laces! love my glove and this brought it back from the brink.

This kid it priced at around $17 and works ok if you know what you're doing. For similar pricing I can have it replaced at a local sports store by someone that knows what they're doing. Unsure of how well the laces will hold up in FL heat...will have to come back with an update.

I ordered this product to help repair a baseball glove that was falling apart. Using YouTube videos, I was able to easily use the contents of the kit to make that happen. The materials included in the kit helped me salvage what likely would have ended up in the trash. Now the glove works like new and I don't have to purchase a new one. I got the kit with the intention of re-lacing my daughter's new Mizuno glove. The task seemed a bit daunting, but then my old glove broke. I find this to be a very versatile leather lace kit. I use it for my boat shoes, in replacing their worn laces. The lace needles in this kit are great for that. I also liked the color of the leather laces that were included in this kit.

Although the leather was a but thinner than the original it worked just fine and saved my favorite old glove, what a great kit worked perfectly!
