These are great. They really are waterproof pads. They are easy to wash and come out great afterwards. The plastic backing on them is great. Material is very durable, plus they look nice

I DO NOT write reviews.... BUT....I do read a LOT of them before I make a purchase, SO....after reading the negative ones on here for these pads, I felt I needed to debunk those and agree with the company responses that they must have received defective ones (or possibly they ordered knockoffs by mistake). These are PAWFECT....get replacements and you will LOVE these! (I literally just ordered them yesterday after my research and I did not get anything free, although the price for a 2 pack is a steal, and hadn't even checked my email yet for the delivery confirmation or that email you always get from Amazon asking you to do a review the product...I'm just so happy that nothing said in those negative reviews even closely resembled what I received)Ok....The XS is just a little shorter than the doormat my older female dog was using at my front door almost every day in the wee hours of the morning before we got up to let her out....I did my research, these came up as TOP PICKS on several blogs. The price was also the lowest I found even for 1 mat and these came in a 2pk and free one day shipping with Prime. I set one out last night when they arrived....The top is very soft and she even laid on it like she does with the doormat so good sign already.... AND she had already used it when I got up this morning. It DID NOT roll off and leak onto the floor like some said, it DID NOT spill out on the floor when I picked it up(as others said)...it DID however soak it up like a diaper and I DID NOT smell anything, even when I bent down to pick it up...I could always smell the pee on the rubber backed doormat as soon as I walked in the room!The backing I can only describe as being like a very well made changing pad like what comes with an expensive diaper bag, smooth, sturdy but flexible, NOTHING like something that would shred or tear easily (like some commented), I took the one she peed on out back this morning to really test how much it can hold and I could not believe how much water I was able to put on it with the hose before the water and pee started to puddle up and flow out; this thing holds a CRAP TON of liquid and weighed a ton when soaking wet...even though I do not plan to leave it down once she has peed on it, if you have multiple dogs I would say you will be happy to find out how much this little pad soaks up! I do agree its not exactly slip proof if you're using on hard floors/surface, but as a doormat its perfect and stays put when I open and close the front door and I'll still have a place to dust feet since I will always have a clean one down during the day. My dog did pee right smack in the middle so I can't say much about those that had it leak over the edge and sit under the mat and stain the floor (except maybe check it daily and mop the floor instead of leaving a soiled mat down so long it stains your wood floor??) This thing held so much water when I went to hose it off I can't imaging how much pee there would have to be to cause a leak, so getting the right size and not leaving it down once its soiled and this is the best choice I could have made for sure. I love that its a 2 pack and the colors are neutral and don't have "doggy baby blanket" bones written all over it like most other brands I looked at. I am thrilled to have a simple effective solution to mopping up pee every morning! I just switched it out for the tan one and tossed the grey in a warm water wash...I will hang dry to extend the good sturdy waterproof backing. Firstly, if your thinking about buying this product do it! Don't even think about it anymore just do it! I have a yorkie. And a toddler. We just succeeded in potty training our daughter and there was a lot of accidents that required washing dirty underwear, but the thought of not spending money on diapers was what made me realize it isn't so bad in fact not bad at all. Now here we are potty trained and more money in our pockets. So it made me think of getting rid of the disposable pads and try these out, best decision ever. I bought two sets of two. And I can tell a huge difference in the smell. Use to I could sit on the couch and know when my dog had used the pad because i could catch whiffs of urine. Now i literally smell nothing. This is my routine and it works perfectly scouts honor. I wake in the morning and I use an enzyme based cleaner. I use kids-n-pets. I bought a big gallon of it on Amazon, it wasn't ridiculously priced and works like a charm. Anyways, I completely soil the spots of pee with the solution, then I put them in the wash and put it on soak with tide. I have an agitator in my washer. So I fold the pads once down the middle where the material is all on the outside and then place them in the wash around the agitator. I put my second set down for our dogo to use while the others are soaking. After they soak, I put them on a delicate cycle with tide. I take them out and hang dry. They dry quickly in the sun. No trace of stains, no smell of urine literally at all ! And I'm no longer spending money on pads which was 40 bucks almost every week and a half. I'm thoroughly pleased with my purchase and I highly recommend. I noticed reviews showed damaged goods after a wash, I advise you to pay attention to how you are washing and I wouldn't recommend drying them in a dryer. Ive been handling my pads this way all week and I have zero signs of damage or fading or anything.

Pretty good products. Absorbs urine very well. I washed one with detergent and afterwards it was not absorbent anymore. So I washed it again with warm water only and it returned to normal. I recommend washing them with mild detergent.

Loving it as it is environmental friendly, washable, air dry and odourless.

Puppy took immediately to these for both tinkle and poop! A must-have!

We used these as whelping pads in our kiddie pool whelping pen. The fit well, are absorbent, washed amazingly and did not stain. The back is plasticky/rubbery so they did not slide around a lot which was appreciated. They survived a litter of 7 Siberian husky puppies, so they must be good!

Belle grandeur, mes chiens l'ont tout de suite adopté, très étanche. Je les ai lavés et séchés a la machine. Seule critique négative, ils ont tendance à faire de la peluche, j'imagine donc qu'ils ne resteront pas aussi beaux très longtemps.
