Lasts super long, easy to change out!

I've had this system for a year and have greatly enjoyed it until it came time to change the cf filter. It's supposed to be super easy and looks super easy. However, the cf filter will not turn to remove. It is so stuck i cannot get out. I reached out to customer service (who responded qucikly) and did their recommendations, but still won't budge. Customer service admitted that sometimes the filters get too much pressure and hard to remove. Right now, I'm unsure how I can change that filter.

Works great until it’s time to change the filters and they do not come out. I was able to change the bottom filter without an issue and the top one I could not remove. it was stuck in there and of course the one year warranty just came up.

I have the typical filtered water from my refrigerator, but it gets a lot of buildup in the drip tray, which tells me it's full of "stuff" in general. I've been considering a RO system, but most are super pricey. When I spotted this one for less than $300, and compared it's features to some of the pricier options, I decided to give it a go.If you're handy, it's actually not that difficult to install. My 3 stars is because I didn't have an outlet under my sink (and didn't realize I needed one until this arrived). I had to convert my garbage disposal switch to a combination switch/outlet in order to be able to power this. After that, installation wasn't complicated. If you can do basic plumbing, and know how a drill works, you can install this.I also ordered a silicone mat to go under the sink, and under this unit, and I'm adding a water sensor in case there are any leaks (none yet, thankfully). After getting it set up, you have to let it run for 30 mins to get the RO membrane ready. Once that's done, the status light on the front of the unit turns from blinking to solid, and you're ready to use it.Water taste is a little different than my fridge, but it's good. I think it may change a bit as I use it and the filters become more saturated, but for now, I'm happy. The only negative, and it's not this unit's fault, is that the water is room temperature instead of being chilled as when it comes from the refrigerator. I knew that going in, however, but if you like cold water, this doesn't provide it. And if you use standard ice cubes from your fridge, it sort of defeats the purpose of the RO filtered water (since the ice cubes are not filtered). Still, I'm pleased with it, and the price point is a good entry into the market. If I decide later that I want to upgrade to a higher-end unit, all of the prep work I did for this one will carry over to a new one as well, so time well spent.

The media could not be loaded. Purchased to replace a Watts 4stage RO system which is totally silent and produced perfectly clean tasting water. Replaced to reduce water waste and frequency of filter maintenance.This unit installed with all installation instructions followed and first-use steps taken carefully. Subsequently used for 3 days, giving it a chance to clear any manufacturing residue in the unit or tubing.Liked advertised ease of, and 12 month frequency of filter replacement.Liked advertised water saving feature but will not use it long enough to prove.Liked overall size and ease of water connections.Disliked additional AC power requirement.Disliked noise when in use, and during 60 second flushing after each use.Totally dissatisfied with water taste, after-taste and mouth feel. Unable to enjoy even a sip of the water.

Was very easy to install, water tast great, great quality,appearance, size is perfect for under the sink. Very happy I got it.
