Diane Hair Donut, Blonde, Small

This hair donut was much too large for me to use. Other reviewers stated that it would work with shoulder length, fine hair. However, my hair is fine and down to around mid-back length, and this didn't work for me at all. Not only was the bun too large and looked ridiculous on my head, it didn't even roll up correctly to make a proper-looking bun. If you're on the fence about whether this is too large for you, let me be the deciding factor: it is. Either find a smaller one, or do what I did when this one failed and cut up an old sock for an old-fashioned DIY sock bun.

The small donut is really a medium sized donut. You definitely need your hair to go beyond your shoulders for this to work. H&M has smaller ones that are very cheap that are the perfect size for shoulder length hair and shorter :)

I'm not sure what the difference between a large vs small is but this is the same size as every other bun donut we own. I was hoping it would be smaller for our 4 year olds hair for dance classes. this works great (comes without instructions ) but isn't "small" by any means

The donut does what should but I think I should have gotten a medium. My hair is past my shoulders. I thought because my hair is fine and thin I needed the "small", but I think the sizes are for length.

This was so much easier to use than I could have imagined! My daughter's hair was beautiful for a wedding and then her first Communion. It was even doable for a dummy like me.

Unfortunately this product doesn't work well for me. I had previously been using the "sock bun" method, which I liked, but I thought maybe an actual hair donut might make the look more polished. First, I would say the color online and the color of the hair donut in person are different. The hair donut I received was a very very dark brown, almost black which does't match my hair. Second, I have very thin hair, and I had a hard time styling my hair with the donut so it wouldn't obviously show through. This product may work better for people with slightly thicker and darker hair. I'll be giving mine to a friend instead of using it.

If you have fine, bra-length hair (like me), you might fine that this donut is a little too big. I think it would be better suited for ladies with thick hair. If this is their "small," it makes me wish they sold an "extra small."

Good quality and I love the look afterwards.
