Exact fit. No issues works as it should

Seems to be made well and working great so far! Easy to install.

The PTO cable (goes to the lever on your tractor's dash board to make the blades spin) on my John Deere S100 garden tractor broke where it attaches to the spring that connects the cable to the blade clutch. Apparently this is a common problem, but is relatively easy to fix if you have a new cable and a YouTube connection.As you can see from the photo, the cable itself is almost an exact match. However, the spring on the original cable is quite a bit heavier. I have not noticed any difference, but if you want a truly exact match, you probably should order the replacement directly from John Deere. That said, it seems to work fine for my situation.When you go to replace the cable, google "How to install a blade engagement cable on a john Deere D series tractor". It is a straight forward process. I found the hardest part was getting the original spring (that had separated from the cable) off the clutch. Just be prepared to be rolling around on the ground for an hour or so.

Dislike, it was installed properly, after around 6 times using the new cable, it broke around the eyelet, half of the galvanized eyelet broke off. I'm going to have to order another one

I bought this to replace the original cable on a Deere tractor with a 42 inch deck. It did not work. The problem is that the original equipment has a much larger spring and this has a very small spring. I ended up buying a Deere original equipment cable and that worked fine. Save your money
