Essential!
I love this treadmill, it is going to be extremely useful as i am going to be going to nursing school soon so this will easily help me with my steps without going to the gym. My only complaint is, it is VERY heavy when picking up and not using the wheels!! I find it really difficult to move around without straining really hard. Other than that I am absolutely in love with this thing!

Has Helped Me Between Gym Visits
Took me a while to review due to a knee injury between the time I ordered it and the time it arrived, but I'm happy I ordered it. While going to the gym is not a huge deal, I work from home and thought would be nice to be able to just jump on it a couple of times a day for 20 - 30 minutes and then go right back to work. I just get so lazy when it comes to getting ready and going to the gym. Also, I have two dogs and one has a bit of separation anxiety, which makes me wonder if I'll come back to any problems due to that.Since I had time to recover from my injury, I came back to read reviews and was well aware of any limitations it might have and was prepared! I knew NOT to lose the remote, and that I may need to oil it periodically to keep it in tip top shape.I started on it with short, slow walks, then increased both slowly. I find that it's super easy to use and having the remote was convenient. I slowly began to increase the time and speed. It's fast enough for me, especially since I'm just using it between gym visits (although I find my gym visits have diminished). It has been a game changer for me! I use it while watching tv, on conference or zoom calls (as long as I'm not using video), in the morning before I start work, in the evening for a quick 15 - 20 minute walk after dinner. I love knowing I can take a walk without going out into that heatwave we've been experiencing. Also, with all of the fires, the air quality has not been great, so I just turn on my AC and walk indoors. It's just such a great option!I know some have reported issues a few months in, and I haven't been using it that long, since I had to wait for my knee to fully heal, but I haven't experienced any issues with it at all. Maybe because I was prepared, I don't know. But I'm very happy with it!

Perfect!
This treadmill is exactly what I was looking for. Working from home has drastically decreased my activity level and I wanted to add some movement to my work day.The treadmill is so light, I easily move it when I want to sit at the desk instead. The available speeds are ideal too, the lowest is 0.6mph and the highest is 3.8mph. A con that isn’t that terrible is that you can’t pause the walk- you can either stop the treadmill and lose the stats (estimated calories burned, time elapsed, distance) or let it keep going while you step off to do whatever and come back. I don’t care about this much because I track all of that via my Fitbit anyways (which has to be in my pocket because it won’t track steps if your wrist is on your desk typing!)This product is absolutely the best value for a simple way to add movement to your day. I went from getting 2-3k steps a day to now being upwards of 15k. Highly recommend!!

Remote not connecting
I bought this walkpad and I have not been able to get it to turn on consistently. I’ve tried swapping out the batteries but nothing is working.

A smooth operator this one is...
Extremely compact design allowed me to lift and maneuver this thing down the stairs into the basement on my own. Not that I would recommend anyone do that by themselves if others are around to help them. It still have a good amount of weight to balance in your hands.Assembly? There is none. You take it out of the box and practically ready to go after taking it out of the packaging. The instructions stresses that it is mandatory to plug it into an outlet with a ground for it to function. I have an old power strip that I used with all my other devices and powered gym equipment that I plugged this thing into. I flipped on the power strip on the underside of it and tried to power it on with the remote after removing the plastic the preserved the battery. It refused to turn on. I plugged it into different outlet on the power strip but still no luck. I had a feeling that the issue may be with the power strip itself, but I could plug the treadmill directly into the wall because it was actually on the roof and out of reach for the treadmill. So, I went and grab an unused surge protector I remembered I had and this resolved everything. The treadmill operates almost silently and each step on it felt well dampened. The controls was very easy to use, power it on and it starts off at a very low speed. Push on the plus sign on the remote repeatedly to gradually increase the speed. I pushed on the minus sign to slow it back to the lowest speed before pushing the power button to shut it off. I probably should have just stepped off of it before powering it off as the sudden stop kind of threw me off balance. This makes me worried for the older folks in my home who I want to use this product, made me wish this product have detachable handrails or handrails that fold away. That is my only negative I can think of for this product. This product seems smoother in operation than our previous treadmills. I'm interested to see how long it lasts as the previous treadmill we owned just stopped working, but the stepping surface of this product and smooth motor makes this infinitely better than the treadmill it replaces. I would say it is worth the purchase.
