I’m enjoying this product and love that it’s got three great supplements in one: Fenugreek, Maca Root, and Ashwagandha.

Errors on label......The front of the label, the product page and the back of the label "supplement facts" all give different dosages of the elements in these.For example, "Maca Root" on the product page shows 5000mg.The front label (you can see in image number one) shows 2000mg.The "Supplement Facts" on the back of the label/bottle shows 500mg.Yikes! Which do I believe?This was the case at the time of order and review 8/2023.Maybe they will fix that at some point.Here's what I can tell you.I take a variety of supplements:General Health, Graceful Aging, Athletic Performance.I think of this one as "vigor" and athletic performance.I took two of these 30 minutes prior to my 70 minute lap swim workout.Full disclosure, I also had a "pre workout" drink.I switch up the athletic performance supplements (I have many).I didn't feel some massive hulkin' strength, but it was a good swim.If even just placebo, I think I felt benefit from taking these.They are a clear, on the larger side of medium, veggie capsule through which you can see a beige/light brown powder.Other than the veggie capsule, I didn't perceive any taste or flavor when I put these in my mouth to swallow; easy to swallow with liquid.I did not experience any negative digestive effects after taking these (and that was during a swim).I will use these in rotation with my other athletic performance supplements.Despite inaccurate information on the page and label, I'm giving these a 4 star rating - based on *perceived* quality of ingredients, not necessarily on actual performance.I hope this review has been helpful and enables you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

I began taking Ashwagandha a couple of years ago and experienced many positive results from doing so. The most noteworthy was an improvement in energy and spirit. I began to enjoy activities that used to give me joy, and I had the energy and desire to tackle tasks that I'd put off for years. I'd only recently heard about Fenugreek and wanted to see if I liked it as well. I was happy to discover this LaPura Ashwagandha. It gave me the opportunity to continue taking Ashwagandha while also trying the Fenugreek as well as Maca Root and Tongkat Ali Ginseng and Horny Goat Weed. I was unfamiliar with Maca Root and Tongkat Ali Ginseng and Horny Goat Weed.My first reaction was I hate the scent and taste. I don't know which of the ingredients I find offensive, but I really dislike the smell and it seems to linger on my hands for awhile even after washing them. The capsules are fairly large, but not difficult to swallow though.I was a bit insecure changing the brand of Ashwagandha I've come to trust, but I must say I've had just as positive a reaction with this supplement. I don't know if I've received any extra benefits from the additional ingredients, but they haven't caused me any negative reactions or stomach upset either. Overall I'd have to say I'm happy with the results of this product, my only complaint is the smell.****About me: Integrity is very important to me. This mix of adaptogens looks like a nice grouping. However, a pretty label and ad with pictures of happy people and supplements with changing dosages ( Ashwagandha dose changes in different pictures) is not impressive. Differing dosages of the same supplement is unfortunately sloppy work and makes me wonder about how the product was put together. And then there is the almost total lack of information regarding this product other than that it is manufactured in the USA.Where the product comes from is extremely important because it is important that the product is grown in an area without heavy metal contamination. Also no information regarding facility information and third party testing for purity. Again this is important because the consumer is assured of a product manufactured in a plant certified for high standards. There are plenty of manufacturers who are doing what they can to assure the consumers of a high quality product. So the lack of information is always discouraging.

I have been taking Ashwagandha supplements for almost two years now under the recommendation of my girlfriend who noticed that I was under stress and not sleeping well.What I have taken away from using this supplement after all this time is that while I don't think it actually helps you sleep better, I do think you get better sleep. This supplement will elevate your dreams to the point that they will be extremely vivid. Unfortunately, this can also mean that nightmares are more intense, though I am certainly not saying this promotes nightmares. That is definitely not the case.Does it relieve stress? It seems to. I used to take Lexapro for depression. Taking Ashwagandha sort of feels like being on Lexapro where my head is heavy all day and I sort of feel like a zombie. This is probably the effect that leaves most people using this drug feeling less anxious. Unlike Lexapro, I don't lose any sharpness in my mind. I'm still very sharp and alert.I am also very athletic, working out for 90 minutes every day both on a Peloton and a treadmill. At the age of 60, I have my bouts of body pains due to the amount of exercise I do. Since taking this Ashwagandha supplement, I seem to have fewer bouts of pain.This is certainly not a wonder drug and its beneficial effects seem subtle.You get a month's supply per bottle (60 tablets/taken twice daily) and the fact that this is made in the USA makes me feel much better about the reliability of the purchase.
