Lick 'n' Lap Snack with Salmon Cat Treat, Value-Pack 20pk

I volunteer at an animal shelter and bought these to give to the cats stuck in kitty condos. I figured my own spoiled three would like to try them, too. I bought these in chicken and salmon, and bought some more expensive brands, as well.The veredict is that most of the cats really like these, regardless of brand.Comparing these with more expensive brands, they're a little smaller (0.42oz vs. 0.5oz), but still enough for a good treat. They're more affordable than other brands, though on par lately with Catit. The cats seemed to like or dislike these regardless of brand. They all smell like cat food; I'm not sure why people complain about that, because it IS cat food. And finally, this brand is really not that much thinner/more watery than others. I saw a review where someone mentioned that and it gave me pause, so I specifically tested them side by side. The only things I noticed was that the water separated out from the treat a little bit more with this brand vs. more expensive. All you do is squish the packet a few times before feeding and that problem is fixed. Also, the tubes on the more expensive brands collapse more completely so less is stuck inside. Neither of these things is enough to take away any stars, though. When you compare the prices, this brand is the best value.Bottom line, I'll keep getting these! They bond you with your cat since they're literally eating out of your hand, so that's nice. They help hydration. I think they give the condo kitties a nice perk up from daily life and help socialize the nervous ones.Edited April 2024 to add my latest TWO batches of salmon seemed to be more chunky, and bits kept getting stuck in the opening of the tubes. It clogged the tube and I ended up either cutting it or squeezing harder and covering at least one cat in treat! I think this might be because the treats Amazon sent expired either that month or the month after. Amazon, you really gotta stop sending expiring treats! BUYERS, CHECK YOUR DATES!! I'm actually not sure I'll keep buying these through Amazon because of that.Leaving it at five stars because it's still a great product when it's not expiring.

We can't be happier with our choice to buy this treat for our cats regularly. Our cats are absolutely obsessed with these treats.We have some very picky cats at home and must carefully watch their calorie and protein intake. Given that this product is made in Germany, we trust the high food quality standards and ingredient control. Good price, a bit smaller then the tube type I normally buy but I'm after something my old sick cat will eat and she likes this. The vet said to let her eat anything she wants to eat.

I have a cat toy/treat subscription box called KitNipBox and last month Eli got these treats in his box. I never considered buying them because he doesn't like wet food, but he loves these! I have to give them to him on a plate because I can't get it out of the pouch fast enough!

OK... Shockingly my old cat LOVES the taste (she can be picky) BUT, that said, I didn't think they are worth the price asked for 5 little servings, too much money, plus maybe this company should consider selling product in bulk supplies & reduce cost somewhat for bulk purchases, just one thought on what MIGHT make me purchase again... & could boost my stars rating next time, if they do... TY

My cats just love these and honestly I think all cats love these.

Love these usually but they may have been exposed to high heat because two tubes were blown up and hard with what must have been air. Threw them out because they must have spoiled to come in that condition or they were spoiled anyway. Not safe to give to the cats.
