Lots of things to mix up !! Good fun !!

We got this set for our science mad 9yr old and he's been playing (with dads help) for days. The only minor niggle is that you need a number of little extras like vinegar, meth spirits, cotton balls etc to conduct the experiments (dad had to run around on christmas day to find shops that were open) but once you have all the bits its a top drawer, top quality piece of kit that i'd recommend to anyone who, like us, has a child that loves science.

I purchased this for my 10 year old's birthday. It arrived promptly and in good condition, the experiments all went according to plan, so it did exactly as it should have. Unfortunately, it was not as exciting as we thought it would be but this only leaves room for later experimentation with sets aimed at older kids.

My daughter loves playing with a chemist, she is safe and gives a lot of joy to children and adults.

My daughter was very pleased with this. Yes, you do have to use things which are not part of the set, but it's not difficult to obtain them, in some cases it will tell you where you can buy them from (for example Milk of Magnesia - from a chemist, soap flakes - from the supermarket, fuse wire - from DIY stores) so the previous reviewer should have had no trouble finding them. You will also need methylated spirit for the burner.It claims to have a "Coloured instruction leaflet" which sounds glossy, but in actual fact it's black and white with a coloured cover. Doesn't detract from the set itself though

Quick delivery. Bought as Christmas present for grand daughter. Had a quick look in box, looks OK but will have to buy methylated spirit for burner.

Very good value, some of experiments didn't work too good and box was damaged. However, granddaughter really pleased with her gift and overall good value for money. Arrived very quickly

Daughter and her friends enjoy this, I am certain a couple of improvements could be made - a plastic test tube rack when you have a meths burner to heat stuff seems a little odd. There is a good range of chemicals and most experiments listed seem to work without issue.

Gioco molto carino e divertente. Peccato che le istruzioni siano solo in inglese e pertanto limitano un po' il gioco.

coffret offert à mon petit-fils de 7 ans pour son anniversairecelui-ci lui plaît beaucoup la boîte est complète et il fait ses expériences avec l'aide de sa maman je suis contente d'avoir suivi les commentaires car c'est une vraie boîte de chimie contrairement à toutes les boîtes que l'on trouve dans le commercede plus mon petit-fils est soucieux de garder le matériel en bon état donc il en prend soin et le nettoie après chaque expérience
