It has amazingly soft yarn, great quality! The only trouble I have is following directions, it's a little confusing, but I am greatful my mom knows all about crocheting lol

The good things about this kit!I purchased this after trying the Woobles kit. I will say that without the Woobles kit with the special yarn, this would have been a much more frustrating experience. Since there are three dinosaurs, I am looking forward to seeing my progression as I complete each one.The contents of the kit are all-encompassing. I didn't need to go out and get anything at all!The instructions are easy to follow and it also has a video that demonstrates how to complete the item.My daughter ended up ripping pages out of my booklet. I contacted the email address that was cited on the instruction booklet and received a timely response with PDF copies of the pages I was missing. I was so happy for such a quick turn around time!Finally, the reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5: The yarn isn't of the best quality, but it isn't awful. I was also sad that they didn't give the option to sew in the spikes on the dinosaur. I sewed them in, but the booklet stated that it was to be glued. The kit came with a stick of hot glue for this purpose. This doesn't seem conducive. Just go on ahead and sew the spikes on. It's a lengthy process, but so worth it!

the yarn and the hooks are TINY very challenging for a beginner. this is great for someone who can crochet but just know you'll make a 3 inch dinosaur not like a 10 inch one like you might expect

However, my enthusiasm quickly waned due to a series of disappointments.Firstly, the package arrived in a sorry state – previously opened, leaving me questioning the integrity of the contents. To make matters worse, one of the two lime color yarns provided barely stretched half a yard, and the beautiful red box prominently featured in the product photos was nowhere to be found.The final straw was attempting to decipher the instructions, both written and in the video, which felt like unraveling a Mission: Impossible code. Instead of guiding beginners, the instructions left me more confused and frustrated than ever. It's disheartening to invest in a kit meant for novices only to find it more suitable for advanced crochet cryptographers.Regrettably, I've returned this kit due to the subpar quality, insufficient materials, and cryptic instructions. A cute appearance can only go so far when the essence of a beginner's kit falls short on multiple fronts. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for a crochet kit that truly supports beginners on their crafting journey.

I'm making this review immediately upon receiving the product. First of all I didn't get what was pictured. I bought the dinosaur because it had a Santa hat and scarf and I don't have anything to make such things. I'm not sure why the photo shows it that way when you don't get it. It's why I chose this version because I liked it.Also, as I've been sitting for at least an hour to try to get through the first steps this is actually a little difficult to start. I'm new to crochet altogether and wanted a full kit to try out. This was cute and the yarn looked pretty decent in quality. While I do think the yarn is nice and soft, it isn't exactly beginner friendly. The direction book that comes with it isn't actually all the detailed. It does show you steps and gives you all the directions to start a certain stitch and things like that but they are a little vague and toe the line of assuming you know what you're doing.The video isn't much better as it's not all the slow and it's a little difficult to see what's going on. They use the terminology you should know for the stitches but it's fast as if you've already picked it up.I'll work with it but I'm a little disappointed with the incorrect product photo and the set up of the directions.The upsides to the kit is that everything comes together and it's convenient which is really what the two stars are for.

I'm a slow crocheter so this to me awhile but it was so worth it. The instructions are clear and everything you need is included in the kit.

This helped me a lot with understanding how to complete each row. There’s tips & written instructions . Also the videos help sooo much! I can’t wait to finish & get more !
