I just put together this cute little house for my guinea pigs and so far they love it. It was super easy to assemble, seems ok sturdy wise considering how it’s assembled. I will tell you my main concern with this being wood was the guinea pigs chewing on it so far they haven’t. I’ve seen them nibble for like a second but then they stop. My guinea pigs have a lot of chewing toys in their cage so I don’t think that should be a problem but I’m curious to see how that will hold up. Overall, I’m pretty happy with it and my guinea pig seem to love it. They’ve been running around on top and in the bottom since I placed it in their cage. I definitely like this one better than the previous plastic housings that I had this one’s more sturdy and they don’t move it like the plastic ones that I had and they seem to be more comfortable in this one. I was a little concerned at the beginning on the size of the entrance to the housing since my guinea pigs are kind of chunky, but they fit through just fine. The wood is not super thick but not super thin. It’s pretty sturdy. I think I think it will hold up pretty well. I will update this review in a couple months to see if anything changes but so far I love it.

Has 2 entrances to lower level. Sturdy, thick pieces. I bought their hanging loft with ramp also before, and this wood is thicker. I am using it to put piles of hay in for them to eat sleep and play in, and keep it somewhat contained. Put a waterproof fleece pee pad under it and change it out if they pee in it. Assembles easily, no screws. High quality and great value for your money!! And it is so cute!

First off, this is much smaller than what the picture appears. I bought two for my guinea pigs and they both went into the trash. They fall apart ridiculously easy, with nothing to secure it together. THIS IS NOT CHEW SAFE it is made of some laminate material and not actual wood facing, which is absolutely not safe for small animals. I think the only thing that would fit in here comfortably would be a baby guinea pig. It was a waste of money, I wouldn’t suggest purchasing this at all

My pigs love it. The ladder prong was cracked on arrival and broke shortly after set up. Did not prevent the pigs from using it.

This looks very cute in our guinea pigs' cage, but there is no way to keep the sides from separating over time, so we have to continually make sure it is not falling down. I wish there was a way to make it stay together. Overall it looks nice and is made from sturdy materials, but needs glue or pegs to hold it together.

My girls absolutely love this! One of them is always sleeping under it and they climb to the top a lot! Easy to assemble!! Very sturdy and the ramp is easy for them to climb. Definitely recommend! ps…nothing is chew proof for a guinea pig 😉⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This falls apart all the time. I gave it 2 stars because my guinea pigs enjoyed it, but it's always falling apart.
