Q: Is this for lead-acid (flood, agm, gel), or lithium batteries? on product description, the details say not for lithium?

The description is accurate. For Lead-Acid types, including AGM, Flooded electrolyte and Gel type batteries ONLY. DO NOT use it on any other types, including nickel-metal hydride or any Lithium type battery. The charger does not check the temperature of the cell, which is extremely important for safe charging of Li-Ion Li-Poly, and Li-Iron types. Also, the charging method is incorrect and the voltage output and charge curve does not match these batteries.

Q: Is it possible to set output amps down less than 10a? Such as .5amps perhaps ?

I set voltage levels to control charging and discharging from the batteries. I don’t think you can set output amps based on the instruction manual.
