Received this the other day. Realized that it's for the standard Dyson V8, and the bristles are a bit shorter than the V8 Animal version...but fits into my dyson fine.

Great replacement roller
The only thing I wish is that it came with the screws because after removing the old one two screws were stripped because it was so old and difficult to unscrew. Fit perfect and love using Vaccuum again

This Roller Brush fits perfectly on my Dyson v8
The media could not be loaded. Dyson V8 Roller Brush Replacement is exactly like OEM quality except the black bristles are soft whereas on the original roller they are hard. It fits precisely on my Dyson v8. Usage wise this works perfectly fine, it collects all debris from Hard floor as well as from carpet.I don't have any complaints and would advise anyone buying this to review the cleaning instructions on Dyson portal to keep the roller clean so that these can last a couple of years.These are,1. Perfect v8 fit2. Looks exactly the same as the original roller3. Original roller has hard Black bristles whereas this one has soft, I believe Soft can help clean fine particles better from Hard Floor4. This roller is value for money and will last at least couple of years if maintained well

Works Great!
I got this roller brush as a replacement for the standard-issued brush that comes with the Dyson V8 Cordless Vacuum. The roller brush looks and feels identical to the original and fits perfectly. Very easy to replace, you just pop it in on the side and the vacuum works like new.
