Hard working
These stakes are going full bore all the time. Unfortunately, the metropolitan center for moles seems be located in our yard.

Does it attract rodents or get rid of them?
We're having a chipmunk festival this year in our flower garden and it was getting out of hand. Not wanting to poison them I read some reviews on here and even watched a video with some guy "swearing" by them. I'll be honest (which I always am), this doesn't do a thing except make some short chirping noises. As a matter of fact we covered all the holes which they dug then pushed (and placed) about four of these spread out at five feet or less in our twenty foot garden. I watched our surveillance video and they didn't seem deterred at all. They're still there and to be honest I think they like the noise. Otherwise why would they still be there?????Look at something else because they absolutely don't work. Total waste of money.

These stakes do the job
Bought these stakes to control the moles. Easy to install. Some family members don't like the sound. Sturdy and work well.

Moles ignore these
The sound these make is atrocious but if they keep moles away…they don’t keep moles away. In fact mole mounds popped up right next to them. They do keep the neighbors and dogs away though, so not entirely useless.
