My laptop screen won't show up unless I have it plugged into the charger. I bought one of these from another seller a few months ago and it eventually had to be positioned just right for my laptop (and my husband's) to work. This one works with no issues so far, other than the sparking when I plug it in, which is why I bumped it down a star. Unlike other replacement chargers, this one did/does not cause my mousepad to act erratically.I can now work without having my screen constantly go black because I moved the wrong way. Thanks!

I purchased this charger because the OEM charger cable wire was frayed after years of use. This arrived quickly, and although a bit shorter cord than the original, it worked fine for about 13 months.Last week, it suddenly stopped working. I thought it was a battery problem but replacement didn't help, so I had it diagnosed and learned that the charger was actually the problem.I expected to get a longer life out of the charger than this! So it was fine until it wasn't, I suppose. Price is decent, but just know that you may be replacing again in a year.

worked perfectly, cord could be a little longer but hey that is what extension cords are for.**UPDATE**worked great for the first 3 months I finally went to unplug and reconnect to a different outlet and one of the connectors that fold out literally just fell out, isn't built strong at all be careful when removing from outlets I barely pulled with any force and this happened afterwards.

I've been using this charger for nearly a month and I'm really pleased. I received earlier than I had anticipated (a day early!). The packaging was clean and the plug was well-protected. I startedusing it immediately. I love the side-mounted cable connector; low profile and doesn't stick out far like the ones that plug straight in. If I ever need other replacement cords I'll definitely look to buy from Tinkon first.

OEM charger eventually broke wire on stem plugging into laptop port after many years of use; this adapter's cord seems much sturdier than the OEM and seems well-reinforced at the stem plugging into the laptop; hopefully, this charging cord will survive the remaining laptop life

RECEIVED ITEM IN RECORD BREAKING TIME, ONE DAY, AND IT CAME WITH FREE SHIPPING. I STILL DON'T BELIEVE IT. PRODUCT WORKS AS ADVERTISED. DID NOT HAVE ORIGINAL TO COMPARE BUT IT DOES THE JOB.MY ONLY RESERVATION IS THAT WHEN PLUGGING IN THE UNIT IT PRODUCES A LARGE SPARK AT THE WALL OUTLET.I ATTRIBUTE THAT TO CHARGING LARGE CAPACITORS IN REGULATOR STAGE. NOT SURE IF THIS TRANSMIT'S TO THE COMPUTER IF IT IS PLUGGED IN. SO FOR SAFETY I PLUG IT IN THE WALL OUTLET PRIOR TO PLUGGING IN THE COMPUTER. OTHER THAN THAT I LOVE IT.

If this wire were any shorter you would have to use the laptop on the floor.

Identical to the OEM adapter except the plug end for the laptop is just slightly longer...approx 1/8" gap btwn the laptop & plug body...charge time is a couple hours...good adapter
