Himalayan Pink Salt Nasal Inhaler 3 Pack

I originally bought this product at a local dollar store. I was a lucky find them there but they were no longer available. I'm happy I found a multi-item pack of them here on Amazon. They cost more but they are definitely an excellent value. I hate getting a stuffy nose but I dislike antihistamines even more. These nasal inhalers have natural essential oils that clear your nose and actually help ease congestion without making your hair feel like it is standing on end or having an upset tummy from a pill. They go directly to your nostrils and after a few slow easy inhalations you can breath comfortably through your nose again. I keep one in my purse, one in my car, and one on my bedside table. Winter is coming and I expect I will put them in my coat pockets too. I love being able to breath through my nose, especially in bed. Mouth breathing is not good for anybody. I'm grateful I can get a little help as needed with these tiny inhalers. I have using the same ones for months so they last a long time too. I'm thinking they will make great stocking stuffers!

Device claims to be a combination of salt and essential oil, but after disassembling one to see how it worked (salt is not oil soluble) I quickly learned there is no salt in this nasal inhaler.I was hoping this was mostly crushed salt, as salt is supposed to be good for sinuses. Instead this is just peppermint oil and a synthetic wick. You can get the same effect from buying some peppermint oil and putting a few drops on a handkerchief.Why is this called a "Himalayan Salt" inhaler when there's no salt involved.The peppermint oil smells nice, but the value of a quarter teaspoon of peppermint oil and a Glade plug-in wick for $8 a pop is absurd. I didn't buy it to small peppermint oil, I bought it to dry out my sinuses with salt.

Really helps me breathe better....great product!
